Good day and good morning. In this our first clip in ages I test out Spotify's Riverside service and badly mispronounce the word, detritus ; )
When you systemize and organize your business, you make it easier for someone else to take over if necessary. This is helpful if you ever need to take a step back from the day-to-day operations due to illness, injury, or simply needing a break. https://anchor.fm/dawnofthegeeks/episodes/Automate-What-you-Know-n-say-No-to-Drudgery-e1keqli
Bees buzz about beautiful flowers, a few vehicles off in the distance, and many birds. So let's continue going over the 12-step checklist To launch your business.
If you wanna make it as a creative, whether as an entrepreneur, a writer or a coder, it's less about your significant ideas, your firsts, and more about the small steps you take every day.

AI Art - Looking Back

AI Art - Looking Back

A few years ago. Back in 20 15, 1 significant development in AI research was automated image captioning at the time machine learning algorithms started to label objects in images.
Working within limitations is what forces us to think of original solutions. The mistake is thinking that because new technology is faster, cheaper, or more convenient, it automatically spells the death of art. Synthesizers didn't kill traditional instruments. The first few might flow pretty quickly, but eventually, you start to lose steam and then hit a roadblock forcing yourself to push past.
Much as the calculator transformed the field of mathematics, I believe AI-generated or synthetic images will do the same for creative industries. Though not, in the way people might assume.  Dall-e-2: https://openai.com/dall-e-2/ Disco Diffusion: https://bit.ly/3c41VSI
With all our talk about overcoming procrastination and getting into the flow of things, I'd like to mix it up a bit and explore more technical ways to unlock creativity. We've already touched on automation and we'll return to that in the future today. We'll start to look at something unique using code to supercharge creativity. Welcome to Dawn of the Geeks. We’re working on an upcoming more extended guide that will dive deeply into AI and art. Every few days here at Dawn of the Geeks, we explore evidence-based strategies and tools that can help us along our shared journey of living healthier, happier and more productive lives. We hope you enjoy this little preview and find the final version more illuminating.
Our past few guides have focussed on how we as people can better work and how we can stay focused and be creative. We’re testing out Anchor.FM's voice messages, and we’ve included the link in this guide's description to leave us a message. We're here to help. https://anchor.fm/dawnofthegeeks/message
What's happening right now? What emotion are you experiencing? Are you afraid of what will happen if you fail?
In a world of convenience and instant gratification, there is but one thing we won't be able to buy. Musk, Bezos, Arnault, and Gates can never get any more. It's finite and irreplaceable.  Unfortunately, once it's gone, we can never get it back.
We're bound to associate productivity with positivity. It means we're crushing our to-do list and making the most of our day. We aren't wasting time, but what happens when our obsession with getting things done goes too far? We fall into the trap of toxic productivity. What is toxic productivity? Toxic productivity happens when productivity goes wrong.
There are days when we make dozens of choices that could have been better. We can berate ourselves for being wrong so often. But if we're honest, we have to admit that we're also right a lot of the time. We have bad days where we wake up on the wrong side of the bed without a clear head. Begin a conversation with a loved one about something we should have said at a more opportune time. We put sugar on our breakfast burritos by mistake.
Successful people build habits, not just goals. Some people believe. Some researchers think the desire drives us. But there's a surprising amount of controversy in the literature, some back and forth in the science. About how likely people are to work without goals.  How do habits and goals interact? What is involved in getting someone to get up in the morning and exercise first? Is that a habit? A goal, or willpower. How do these things interact? It's probably a little bit of all of them.
A Checklist for Safety

A Checklist for Safety

We often feel we have to keep going, keep moving forward, and keep working harder to get things done. But, in these times, more than others, we need to remember to breathe — to inhale and exhale calmly every chance we get.  We start to equate hard with better and easy with lazy, but what, if overworking, is why you're not getting anywhere? What if there was another way to reach your goals, and what if you've been thinking about productivity all wrong?
You're overthinking it. We're bombarded by decisions every day, over 35 000 per day! The world is a confusing place. We're all individual human beings with our own set of wants and needs, but there are more options out in the world than ever before! It can be hard to decide what's right for you when everything looks so good - which brings me back around full circle: too many choices? Too little time?!
Look around, and it won't take long to get a clear picture of how most of the world views productivity. Laziness is the enemy, procrastination is a sin and getting things done only comes through hard work. Yet, I see these bags under my eyes because I don't sleep. What if we had another way to reach our goals? What if we've been thinking about productivity all wrong? How can we flip our hustle mindset, pursue meaningful goals, and how might we be able to make our work and life just a little bit more effortless. For example, we often make life much harder than it needs to be.
