Your legal right under the Federal Trade Commission's "Funeral Rule" is for each funeral provider to share their price list with you. The FTC "Funeral Rule" gives you the right to get itemized price lists that let you compare prices among different funeral providers. Funeral Providers must share their pricing information in writing; if you call and ask for price information, they have to tell you. There are benefits in each state for people who have a financial need. Each state is different, but if you were making funeral arrangements for someone, check with your state to see the benefits available for your loved one.Live life.
