Debi travels to Sydney in the hope of finding Lewis Turtur, the only identity alive from the revoked suppressions. Turtur's last known address appears abandoned but a series of telephone calls leads Debi to the man himself. Turtur agrees to meet with Debi and breaks his year-long silence. Debi explains where her investigation into true crime began, with the tragic realisation of her own partner's murder in 1992 and her hunt for the man responsible. She is joined by the director of the TV series Chris Thorburn to chat through the explosive reinvestigation from the five part Foxtel series, with the discovery of a lawyer in a kitchen freezer in Adelaide 1979. Having served 14 years in prison for the murder, David Szach asked Debi to reinvestigate his case, claiming his innocence.
