This could be a really interesting show, but the host talks entirely too much about nothing during the entire show. It's hard to tell when he's on topic because he talks so much.

Simon, For gods' sakes man, you need to read 'Pyramids' by one of our greatest authors, Sir Terry Pratchett! Then you will truly understand camels. Love the rants and tangents, (another) Simon

Sometimes I wonder if anyone listens to it before publishing. About 15-20% can be barely understood due the background music

The longest snake in the whole world, ever recorded, was a reticulated python at 32 feet, 9.5 inches. Green anacondas are heavier, but not longer. There are reports of a 33 foot green anaconda, but officially, the record belongs to the 32 foot python. Most reticulated pythons (considered the longest snakes in the world) are around 20 feet. A 40 foot anaconda is EXCEEDINGLY unlikely.

I LOVE that the whole intro came right out of good omens episode 3, iconic. however, your writer left out the best part: Shem letting the second unicorn get away and Crowley helpfully shouting "You've still got one of 'em!", indicating he has no idea where all of these baby creatures are coming from

Oh trust me, inbreeding in animals 100% leads to bad stuff and even deformities. Maybe not as obvious as humans, but it does. Some examples I've seen first hand is with our own cattle. We keep some heifer calves from our cows sometimes, depending on multiple factors. However, sometimes the only bull we have available at the time they need to get bred...is their own dad. *Sweet Home Alabama music in the distance* It always makes us feel awful when we have to do that, but bulls are super expensive to buying a new one just for the one or two new heifers is not an option. And we can't always borrow one, and having 2 bulls on the same place isn't the best idea. Also, it's best for the health of the cow for her to have her first calf by or a little after the age of 2 years (cattle are adults by the age of 2 and start being sexual active around 5 to 9 months old or so, usually around 6 or 7). Cuz then she is less likely to gain a ton of excess weight before her first calf is born, and that ex

The theory of "Humans and dinos co-existed for many generations" makes me laugh. Because, on one hand...uh, yeah. We still do! Because birds evolved from dinos and are technically, as a result, also dinos! But that's it. Those are the only dinos we've lived with (however I gotta say, if terror birds were around when humans were, they had to have been terrifying to see, and they're closer to non-avian dinos than current birds). True homosapiens were not around by the time the last non-avian dinos died off, especially since all large one died off from the extinction event. Only the small little guys survived since they needed less food and oxygen than the big ol boys, so they could survive on less in that hellscape. Then mammals (which were previously extremely small and basically a bunch of rodents that evolved from stem mammals/synapsids/mammal-like non-dino reptiles) finally had an opening to evolve to be larger. They were "allowed" to leave their burrows of safety and evolve into muc

I'm sorry but, as someone who lives 3 hours from there, the way you pronounced Yakima is hilarious to me. I don't blame you for not knowing how to pronounce it/how locals say it, but I also can't help but laugh.
