I found myself diving deep into my shadow work and felt moved to press record and share my healing journey with those who are unfamiliar with processing, shadow work, inner child healing. Healing our mother/father wound can really help us move forward in life as we get to validate and hold space for our inner-child. Being able to shed layers of survival / coping mechanisms that no longer serve our highest good is not easy but worth the temporary moment of discomfort. I know many people have experienced / are experiencing similar issues with their family so this is one way to understand the dynamics to growing up in a dysfunctional environment that has been normalized.
