You asked and we listened! This episode is part of a 3 episode series based on questions our audience wanted us to cover. In this episode, Jeremiah looks at the reality of suffering in this world and how this is not out of line with the sovereignty of God. We hope this is helpful.
You don’t want to miss this one! We sat down with our friend, Cameron Dula to discuss some of the most common verses in scripture which are taken out of context and poorly applied. We hope this will be helpful, for not only you, but those you may be discipling or have the opportunity to discuss these texts with.
We're back with an all new episode to kick off 2024! Jeremiah walks us through 24 things Christians should be keeping an eye on for this coming year. Each are interesting in their own particular way and plenty of spiritual components to pray about as well.

Pastor Vern Hall of The Free Gift Gospel Mission was our speaker for the 6th session and we were privileged to sit under his excellent message! We hope it’s just as beneficial to you as it was to everyone in attendance that day.

In this second session, Dr. Joshua Banks does an excellent job of showcasing areas where our teaching/preaching tend to fall short. With practical advice, seasoned with Biblical insight, pastor Banks walks us through some of the most common mistakes we make as ministers of the Word and teaches us how to improve in those areas. Hope you enjoy!!
We recently had the privilege to spend a Saturday afternoon listening to Pastor Josh Banks of Shepherd's Rock Bible Church teach a seminar on the subject of Expository Preaching. Josh did an excellent job of covering the different components of exposition as well as areas where ministers can improve in their preaching and teaching. This is the first session of that seminar and we hope it's as helpful to you and it was us. Be on the lookout for Part 2 very soon...

Have you ever wondered where certain lingo amongst Christians comes from? Or maybe you've heard certain phrases by believers that just seemed a little odd? If so, this episode may be of some help. We recently ran a poll question on social media that asked for some of the more common cliches that Christians use which simply have no theological backing. We took some of those responses and fleshed them out in our latest episode to try and help us all realize that we could do some maintenance on our poorly communicated statements we tend to throw around.

ur third installment of the Summer Rewind Series is one of the most helpful conversations we've ever had on the Deeply Rooted Podcast. We sat down a few years ago with Pastor Aaron Edens of Crossway Baptist Church to discuss his book, "Church Pain: When Church Goes Too Far." Pastor Aaron discusses the issues surrounding the difficulty of being hurt by circumstances and people in our local churches and how the Scriptures teach us to handle such a painful experience and the hope that lies on the other side of the hurt. This is a must-listen for all church members, regardless of your role in your local congregation.

Our second installment of our Summer Rewind Series takes us back to episode 68 with our friend, Pastor Josh Tompkins of West End Baptist Church in Big Stone Gap, VA. Josh and I discuss the do's and don't's of Biblical parenting and the challenges that face moms and dads in a modern age. We hope this is helpful for not only parents, but children/teens as well.
