I was that 1 He left the 99 for (Matthew 18:12). I share my testimony of how being lost in darkness affected every aspect of my life; and what He teaches me daily to take back all the enemy stole. You can live a fulfilling life, and even during dark times, you can be surefooted like the deer.

In this conversation, I interview psychiatrist, and my friend, Dr. Rhonda Williams about mental health and the importance of seeking help. We discuss the balance between physical, emotional, and spiritual health, and the need for connection and community. We also address common myths about depression and anxiety, such as the belief that it will just go away or that it is a character flaw. Dr. Rhonda emphasizes the importance of understanding that mental health disorders are medical disorders and that seeking help is not a sign of weakness. We also discuss the stigma surrounding suicide and the misconception that it is a selfish act. Dr. Williams highlights the importance of checking in with others and offering support. The conversation concludes with a checklist for maintaining overall well-being, including physical activity, a balanced diet, emotional self-awareness, spiritual connection, and social support.  
In this conversation, I share another testimony about closed and open doors, highlighting the importance of trusting God no matter what. I recount a time when I quit my job to pursue medical school, however, through a series of unexpected events, including a job offer and the opportunity to care of my niece, I realized that God's plan was different from what I had initially desired. I encourage everyone to trust in God's higher ways and to be grateful for all the doors in your lives.
