Some verses in the Bible stop us in our tracks, and 1 Corinthians 15:29 is one of them: “Why are people baptized for the dead?” What does Paul mean? Was the early church baptizing on behalf of those who passed away? Or is this a phrase we’ve simply lost to history?
Malachi 3:10 is a Bible verse that says, "Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the LORD Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it". This verse is a divine invitation and challenge to God's people to return to Him by giving a tithe (one-tenth of their income or produce) to the Temple, with the promise of overflowing blessings in return. Does it apply today?
After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever1 Thesalonians 4:17

Evangelism meets apologetics where hearts and minds collide. In this lecture, we explore how to boldly proclaim the gospel while thoughtfully defending it against the questions and objections of our time. Drawing on Scripture, church history, and real-world examples, participants will learn how to share Christ with clarity, confidence, and compassion. From African martyrs to modern witnesses, this session shows why speaking the truth in love is both urgent and unstoppable in 2025.
Hebrews 6:4-6It is impossible for those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, who have shared in the Holy Spirit,  who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the coming age  and who have fallen away, to be brought back to repentance. To their loss they are crucifying the Son of God all over again and subjecting him to public disgrace.

Following Jesus is beautiful, but it isn’t cheap. In this episode, we explore what Jesus meant when He said, “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves, take up their cross daily, and follow me.”
"God is the only entity in existence of who his existence is in himself" - Ravi Zacharias
Spiritual warfare is not just casting out demons. It’s contending for truth in a world full of lies. It’s holding onto peace when anxiety wants to choke you. It's walking in holiness when compromise is trending.

The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit.  Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other.
When Jesus died, Matthew records something utterly wild: graves opening, saints rising, and people appearing in Jerusalem after His resurrection. But… why does no one else talk about this? Was it literal? Symbolic? A lost tradition only Matthew preserved? In this inaugural episode of Difficult Texts, we unpack this mysterious passage with care, clarity, and curiosity.
Tricky Texts“Therefore I say to you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven men. Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the age to come." Mt. 12:31
In this episode we talk about healing that takes time, pain that shapes us, and a God who refuses to waste even our worst moments.
