Check out the new podcast Dirty Money Moves: Women in White Collar Crime. It deep dives into cases involving a more rare type of criminal, women who commit financial crimes and scams. In season one, host Jami Rice of MURDERISH podcast takes listeners on a journey to investigate Mary Carole McDonnell, a self-proclaimed heiress and the CEO of a TV production company based in Los Angeles. Jami met Mary Carole McDonnell in 2018 when the phony heiress hand-delivered pies to staff at the bank she was about to scam out of $15 million dollars. After she got her hands on the bank’s money, Mary Carole disappeared and still has not surfaced more than four years later. In season one of Dirty Money Moves we expose the REAL Mary Carole McDonnell, her multi-million dollar scams, and all of the lies she told for decades, including a sensationalized tale about the kidnap for ransom murder plot involving her little sister. We unravel how Mary Carole managed to hustle numerous intelligent people and sophisticated businesses out of roughly $50 million dollars, and whether the female hustler had help along the way. This is a puzzling and complex tale about greed, deceit, shocking truths, and an unlikely perpetrator whose story is interwoven with Hollywood’s darker side. apple.co/dirtymoney Learn more about your ad choices. In this edition of Remasterpiece Theater, we proudly bring to you Episode 2 of the Gacy Tapes: The Last Piest of the Puzzle. In what, for a multitude of reasons, was our most difficult episode to produce, we decided we would intertwine Gacy clips into the narrative , so as to appear Gacy was with us, telling his version of the story as we told ours. That approach made for a monumental task for Darron to go through and clean the tapes, while simultaneously keeping the integrity of the levels of all the components that are used to make up the podcast cohesive. Darron has once again done amazing work, so enjoy. The disappearance of fifteen-year-old Robert Piest and the furious manhunt that follows. Learn more about your ad choices. I used to enjoy their defense perspective, keeping in mind it wasn't likely the whole picture of trials- but their totally disingenuous narrative of this trial on the daily is too much. Bob skips trial questions & replies that don't portray the defense in good light, Allie blatantly accuses the police of planting the bullet & act stunned when motions clearly ruled on law don't favor the defense, & pretending the prosecution isn't raising valid points. Listen to other pods for impartial info.

I love true crime, but I won't listen to any more of what he says about the police. I'd like to see you solve a case as big as this. And I'd like to see how tough you would be digging up those bodies and going through what they did and what they deal with every day.
