If there was a ranking of greatest fears I think stalking would be missed by many people. Although just the sheer mention of a person following your every move is enough to send a chill down your spine. And you would not be without reason as the numbers of stalking cases are into the millions across the country with the most common stalker type being a former intimate partner. Which is unsettling to have someone that you shared a relationship with and maybe even a child could be the cause of your greatest distress. This brings us into our case today. Alyssa Burkett by all accounts lived a normal life. She was the mother to a 1 year old daughter, she went to work, hung out with friends and family, and went about her every day needs. The only thing to note is she had an ex that was attempting to make her life a living hell. Join us as we discuss the tragic case of Alyssa Burkett.

We have all heard those tales of the past. Those over romanticized stories of a safer time where no one had a care in world. The favorite thing to say “It was so safe people didn’t lock their doors” it seems laughable now but there was a time when people just didn’t see the dangers of world how we do. I guess not having the Citizens app will do that.
