Welcome back to the first episode of Delve for a few weeks! In this episode Sarah is going to be discussing identity with Tasha and Steff, based on the talks from back on 8th September!
This week Sarah is joined by our Curate, Daniel and our Children and Families Minister, Rich! They will be looking at the questions that came in during the services on 21st July which was about how true joy comes from faith in God.
They talk about what it means to rejoice in the Lord and how Bible verses about not being anxious can be difficult for people with mental health struggles. They also discuss the importance of taking care of your mental health practically as well as spiritually.
As discussed on the podcast, if you are stuggling with your mental health - you are not alone. Talk to someone you trust and visit Mind or Calm who offer lots of resources.
This week Sarah is joined by our Curate, Tasha, Youth Intern, Ronaldo and special guest Sana who is part of our youth and doing work experience with us this week! They will be looking at the questions that came in during the services on 14th July which was about having confidence in God and having supportive partnerships on our faith journey.
Sarah, Tasha, Ronaldo and Sana talk about the importance of community and give examples of how communities they are a part of have helped and supported them.
This week Sarah is joined by our Curate, Tasha and our English Language and Integration Coordinator, Emily!
Following on from Refugee Sunday, we discuss what home means to us and how we can practically support asylum seekers and refugees at St Nic’s.

This week’s episode of our Delve podcast is a Christmas special with (almost) the entire staff team! They are all going to be answering the question, ‘What is your favourite part of the Christmas story?’
We manage to talk about grace, God’s kindness, promises being fulfilled, society being flipped on it’s head and even dancing Shepherds all from this one question!
We hope it helps you see new parts of the birth of Jesus that maybe you hadn’t thought of before.
