In the second episode of the Alberta craft beer series of Derive, I speak to Wade McAllister, a young Alberta farmer who helps run his family run farm, Antler Valley Farm. Antler Valley Farm supplies malt barley to Alberta's brew scene. Of course, malt barley is a vital ingredient for brewers in the province. I speak to Wade about what it's like being a barley farmer and what it's like supporting Alberta's craft brew industry.
