Descent Into Avernus

After the events of the Low Lantern, a mysterious entity has leaped to assist the gang, or at least, remove them from a present danger. But who is to say if they are in more or less danger now. The party has been split, will they find each other before their rivals? The gang gets more details about Elturel that involve the Avernian Hellriders, Thavius Kreeg, and an Angel named Zariel!

The gang make off with precious cargo - Amrik is having none of it. Before the party can handle one issue, a second issue arises. Will the reckless behavior of one spell disaster for all? Find out now!

The party make their way to the Low Lantern, searching for Amrik. Will things go well for the gang or will they find themselves stuck in the mud, or worse?--Spoiler--this is a combat heavy (almost exclusively) episode. who and how many end up swimming with the fishes?

The party spends some time in Baldur's Gate in search of help to revive Manon. They meet many people, and leave quite an impression!

After a brief rest before departing the dungeon, the party rescues a fellow adventurer. There is strength in numbers but some will not make it out of this dungeon alive. The rest might escape the dungeon, but can they escape their demons as well?

Allies in the Afterlife? Knavish Knives?The party continues through the Dungeon of the Dead Three. They meet the cult leaders responsible for the discord in the city and discover a grander conspiracy that would compromise the very foundations of Baldur's Gate!

The Party finds the entrance to the basement of the bath house. Dark surprises lurk deep. Will the party ever see the light of day again or will death consume them all?

This is the first recorded session of my party's personal play-through of Baldur's Gate: Descent Into Avernus! After the party met with the Flaming Fist Captain, Darmin Zodge, at the Basilisk Gate, they were briefed on their new objective to find and neutralize the Cultists responsible for the sprees of murder by any means necessary. They were given a lead on an old friend of Zodge's that lingers about the taverns in the city who might have some intelligence regarding the Cultist's headquarters. The party makes friends quick, and enemies quicker. They say there is strength in numbers. Hopefully that isn't the only variable the gang relies on, because Baldur's Gate has many dangerous threats that hunger for opportunity from the shadows.
