In this episode we hear more from IMPACT+ symposium delegates as they highlight their key learnings and takeaways as well as the hope for building a better and more effective tools for assessing and tackling the fashion industry's impact.
IMPACT+ is a multi-disciplinary network that challenges the way environmental impact is measured and assessed across the fashion and textile industries.
In addition to the perspectives and hopes of delegates, in this episode we hear from the IMPACT + team*about some of the research exhibits and demonstrations highlighting key gap's in our understanding and assessment of the fashion industry's impact.

Towards the end of last year we attended an exhibition called Variantia, celebrating the unique contributions of technical staff and aimed at inspiring students, instigating new collaborations, furthering teaching and encouraging interdisciplinary research. This episode features snippets from contributors who discussed their work and impressions of the exhibition.
In this episode we are joined by Tor Alexander Bruce (whose PhD was partly funded by Immersive Interactive) to talk about his approach to collaborating with colleagues from different disciplines to design immersive environments and objects which support wellbeing. Towards the end of last year we attended an exhibition hosted by the Design Feminisms Research Group at Northumbria. The episode features snippets from the organisers, participants and guests about their involvement in setting up the event, the work presented and impressions of the Exhibition.
