As we continue our study through Colossians, we arrive at Paul sharing some specific examples of how the reality of the Gospel influences EVERY area of our lives, even our most personal & intimate ones. Not only does the Gospel elevate the lowly and de-elevate the high within society, but it also does the same thing within our very homes and families. No realtionship is expected to be unaffected by the good news of King Jesus.
This week is family Sunday! That means things are a little different! Join us as we take a look at Colossians 3, and using the experiential learning activty "magic carpet", we look at how can we make connections between this activity, Paul's words in Colossians 3, and our life today. There's 3 observations from the text that we're unpacking, but that's certianly not the only takeaways! Sit the questions at the end and spend some time processing and praying through your answers.
This week we take a look at Colossians 2.16-23 and the real struggle as followers of Jesus can have with God (by replacing Him with what He's gifted to us) and with each other (by operating from a superiority complex, judging and looking down on someone not where we are spiritually).
