This week were back after an unexpected week off we return to talk about Duane's weekend in Illinois and his review of the Coles County late model race. We also cover the big races from this past weekend where Jonathan Davenport and Sheldon Haudenschild both won big in PA.
Duane tells us about his trip to Eldora Speedway to take in the 4 Crown Nationals where history was made by Daison Pursley taking all 3 USAC National Series wins, as well as a 360 prelim win! We also talk about the the Knoxville Late Model Nationals, The Dennis Roth Classic and the announcement of Rico Abreu joining TSR. We also talk other silly season rumblings!
This week we sit down and Duane tells us about his trip to Indiana to watch the USAC National Sprint Cars. We also talk about the Jim Ford Classic at Fremont Speedway and our take on how streaming helps and/or hurts tracks.
This week we recap the the 55th World 100, where Ricky Thornton Jr put his name in the record books by breaking through for his first Eldora crown jewel! We also talk about Duane wrapping up the AFCS season at Attica and Fremont as well as results and other news from the dirt racing world.
Sorry for the delay in this weeks episode. But we made it and we discussed the dirt racing around our area. Duane made it to Kokomo and Butler Motor Speedway and fills us in. We also talk about the World of Outlaws in the Dakotas, High Limit in California and Lucas Oil Late Models at Port Royal. Also, the Dirt Nerds late model won both of his races this week!
This week we talk about the news for legendary sprint car driver Donny Schatz losing his ride with Tony Stewart Racing after 18 years. We also talk about the potential candidates who may take over the seat for 2026. We also talk about some of the drama from the Topless 100, other folks losing their rides and the Gateway Nationals tire rule announcement.
This week we recap the Knoxville Nationals where Ryan Timms became the youngest winner ever and the first Knoxville regular to win the event! We also talk about the American Late Model Iron Man Series events here in Ohio and a trip to a different kind of dirt track at Stoke Run Action Sports Park here in Ohio!
This week we return after a week off! Duane tells us about his trips to Millstream Speedway and Oakshade Raceway. We talk about Iron Man at Pevely, The 360 Nationals at Knoxville and Eldora's family fun night with a last corner pass! We also talk about the unfortunate events lately that have injured drivers.
This week we're back with our wrap up from a huge week of sprint car racing in Ohio! We talk about the racing, the injuries and the drama from the week. We also talk about the Summer Nationals in our area and the Chase Johnson incident at Sonoma.
This week Duane fills us in on his big AFCS weekend where Attica and Fremont hosted their fan appreciation nights, We also talk about another thrilling BC39 and the USAC National Sprint Cars at Lincoln Park Speedway. Another topic of discussion are the events at Senoia Raceway where Cory Hedgecock and Michael Page traded punches and a race car ended up getting through the fence and injuring 3 race fans.
This week we talk about the USAC National Sprint Car Series visiting Fremont and Millstream, The Iron Man American Late Model Series bringing late models back to Limaland for the first time since 2007! We also talk about the World of Outlaw Sprint Cars visit to Cedar Lake, the World of Outlaw Late Models going north and the High Limit Series at Lucas Oil Speedway.
This week we return to talk about Duane's trip to PA for the Eastern Storm swing for the USAC National Sprint Car series. We also talk about Ohio Sprint Speedweek and Danny Dietrich's big title win! We also talk about Buddy Kofoid's $350k weekend at Huset's, the Summer Nationals and the WoO Late Models at Pevely.
This week Duane is back and in person to discuss the racing happenings from the week/weekend. First we talk about The Dream at Eldora where Jonathan Davenport got his 3rd consecutive Dream win. We also talk about USAC Midget Week and their battle vs Mother Nature and we talk about Travis Arenz getting a huge win in Wisconsin.
This week we talk about a few big topics from dirt racing, one of which was the DQ of Brad Sweet at Butler Motor Speedway in Michigan. Sweet was DQ'd after taking the checker around 12th place but what he didn't know was that the race was already finished the lap before as the flagman was off on the lap count. We also talk about the new of Matt Tift buying the old Mansfield Speedway to bring it back to life (again) and we discuss Mother Nature ruining our racing last weekend and what she is looking to do for this weekends Dream at Eldora Speedway.
This week we recap Duane's visit to Kokomo for the High Limit Series event, where our friend Rico Abreu took the checkered flag at the finish line over Justin Peck. Unfortunately the biggest news out of Kokomo wasn't the amazing finish but the topic of smart watches as Rico was visibly wearing one in victory lane. We talk about the social media swarm that ensued over the topic of smart watches. We also talk about Duane's AFCS weekend, T-Mac getting back to victory lane (twice) and other racing news from the area!
Duane is on his way to Kokomo for the High Limit event, so we do this one with a phone call. Duane fills us in on the AFCS results which started their new mini series and we talk about how our local racing family helped out a grieving family. We also talk about the fantastic racing from Illinois Speedweek, High Limit results and the Posse taking on the Outlaws in PA.
This week we talk about Duane's trip to Eldora for the Let's Race Two weekend which turned into only one race as Saturday rained out. We also talk about the American Late Model Iron Man Series visit to Attica Raceway Park, Butler Motor Speedway, Montpelier Motor Speedway and the national series results!
This week we talk about Duane's trip to the Kokomo Grand Prix to watch the USAC midgets in action.  We also talk about the All Stars returning to action at Fremont Speedway, the World of Outlaws on two bullrings and more!
This week we review the opening race of the AFCS Sprint Series from Attica Raceway Park, which was the lone AFCS race to be completed as Fremont has to cancel due to rain. We talk about Scotty Thiel's DQ at Attica which gave the win to Devon Borden. We also talk about Cale Thomas's short lived stint in the Shark Racing car and we discuss some of the big wrecks from the weekend.
This week we talk about some of the racing from the weekend, where there was more than 60 World of Outlaws sprint cars on site and the World of Outlaw late models battled in Illinois. We also talk about the USAC races from the weekend and more!
