It doesn't seem right that you put hours of your life into such interesting topics for it to just become a mark back. This is the opportunity to talk and teach about your diss and Angus will attempt to keep up and learn something new!

On this episode, I speak with Harvey Church, who did his degree in Broadcast and Communications Engineering at Birmingham City University with an attachment at the BBC. The title of his dissertation is ‘Can you automatically generate statistics for the political and gender representation in a TV Programme?'.
On This week of Diss and That I'm joined by Hippolyta - the legendary Queen of the Amazons as featured in Homer’s Iliad and epic tales of Hercules and Theseus…. Well.. I'm not… but its the next best thing. Sophie Dibben studied Classics at Trinity College Dublin and has a rather unique dissertation. Sophie mocked up an interview with the Warrior Queen to wade through the male view of the Amazons and why the myth and reality is so intertwined. The title of her dissertation… 'The Amazons; constructed by Greco-Roman men to be sexualised and killed'
On this week of Diss and That my old flat mate Anna Thomas tries to teach me all about the properties of Deep Space Galaxies…..  Anna is currently studying her PhD in Astro Physics at UCL but on this episode we discussed her masters that she studied at Cardiff.  the title of her dissertation was: Deriving the Intrinsic Properties of Gravitationally Lensed Submillimeter Galaxies.
This week on Diss and That I'm joined by Ollie Lewis from Edinburgh University. Ollie has recently made the news being a spokesperson for students affected by marking boycotts as part of ongoing industrial action. His dissertation may not be marked until November. We’ll talk about all that and why Ollie has hit the headlines..But what he wasn't asked about during his appearance on the Today programme is What his dissertation was all about.. That's where I come in. Ollie studied Politics at Edinburgh and the title of his dissertation is: “Our country’s in deep trouble”: Status threat as a component in the election campaign discourse of Donald Trump.
On the new season of Diss and That Angus is joined by Meryn Humphries who studied Human Geography at Leeds. The title of her dissertation was: 'An Investigation into the Relationship between Sexual Harassment on the London Underground and Women’s Mobility'
