Hi friends, On this episode of Divine Intervention, we welcome Dr. Hormoz Shariat.  Born and raised as a Muslim in Iran, Dr. Shariat was one of the people demostrating on the streets of Tehran, shouting "Death to America" during the 1979 Iranian revolution that ousted the Shah and ushered in an Islamic theocracy.  Within weeks of the revolution and the coming to power of the Mullahs, however, he and many other Iranians realized they had made a mistake.  Hormoz came to the U.S. to study computer technology and artificial intelligence.  It was while in the U.S. that through his personal study of comparing the Qur’an and Bible, Hormoz accepted Christ in 1980.  He left his lucrative career and dedicated his life to spreading the gospel to millions of Muslims who are burdened around the world. In 1987, Pastor Hormoz co-founded the Iranian Christian Church (ICC) in Sunnyvale, California, which has since grown into multiple churches worldwide.

 The majority of ICC is made up of former Muslims, and is the largest congregation of Muslim converts outside of Iran. Today, Dr. Hormoz Shariat has been identified in Joel Rosenberg’s bestseller, Inside the Revolution, as the “Billy Graham” of Iran. Mr. Rosenberg continued, “He is without question the most recognized and most influential Iranian American”. Hi all! Hi friends, On this episode of Divine Intervention we are joined by SAT 7 network founder & CEO and Middle East Region expert, Dr. Terence Ascott.  Sat 7 is a Christian satellite television network strategically broadcasting the hope of Jesus Christ to millions throughout the Middle East and North Africa.  Dr. Terence Ascott has lived in the Middle East and served as the leader for local media ministries for more than 30 years.  After the start of the Lebanese Civil War, Dr. Ascott and his family evacuated from Lebanon, moving to Egypt.  In Egypt, he launched an Arabic youth magazine called Magalla.  This was the first Christian magazine to be successfully distributed through public newsstands in Egypt and across the region, and was published for 25 years. Hi friends, On this episode of Divine Intervention, we welcome back to the show Bruce Van Natta of Sweet Bread Ministries.  Bruce recaps his amazing testimony of being crushed under a semi-truck, leaving his body, and watching from above as rescue crews feverishly worked on him.  He also witnessed two huge angels laying their hands on him, which he believes kept him from bleeding out due to having major arteries severed in five places.  After multiple surgeries, about a year in the hospital and many miracles along the way, Bruce is fully recovered, much to the surprise of the medical community.  They said he should have bled to death within 10 minutes of the accident...even though it was over 2 hours before they were able to operate on him.   Bruce also talks to us about his new book, "A Miraculous Life:  True Stories of Supernatural Encounters with God,"  in which he recounts some of the amazing miracles and divine interventions he has witnessed and experienced since going into full-time ministry several years ago.  He also talks to us about the 5 giants everyone faces in life, and the 5 weapons of spiritual warfare given to every believer from the Lord to fight and overcome those giants.  Click the links below to hear this inspiring and informative interview with Bruce Van Natta!
