Born and raised in Chicago, I grew up listening to Chicago House. You could usually find me tuning into Hot Mix 5 (Scott Smokin Silz, Kenny Jammin Jason, Farley Funkin Keith, Mickey Mixin Oliver and Ralphi Rockin Rosario) on 102.7fm WBMX. Those guys where pioneers and they basically laid the groundwork for any DJs growing up in Chi-town.
In all my mixes, I want people to get lost in the music. When this happens, it brings me joy and is really why I love being a DJ. I take pride in being able to get someone to go back in time in their mind, reminisce and have a good time.
