About the Guest: Dr. Mark Benson is board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology. He completed a fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology, followed by an Advanced Endoscopy Fellowship at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics in Madison, WI, where he now practices.
About the Guest: Dr. Knoch completed medical school as well as his ophthalmology residency at  UW-Madison and now sub-specializes in comprehensive ophthalmology and cataract surgery. His research interests are in medical student education and surgical procedures and he is currently a director of medical student education at UW. 
About the Guest: Dr. Vapiwala completed her MD at the University of Pennsylvania and is now the Professor and Vice Chair of Education in the Department of Radiation Oncology there. She specializes in the management of patients with genitourinary (GU) cancers. Dr. Vapiwala also devotes significant time to her roles in medical education. She previously served as Assistant Dean of Student Affairs and was named the Associate Dean of Admissions at Perelman School of Medicine in 2019. She is also the current Chair of the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education's Residency Review Committee for Radiation Oncology, which oversees national training standards for her specialty.
About the Guest: Dr. Leitman is a general surgeon at Mount Sinai in New York City. He earned medical degree at Boston University before completing his residency in general surgery at New York Presbyterian-Weill Cornell. Dr. Leitman then completed a fellowship in surgical critical care at North Shore University Hospital. Dr. Leitman serves as the Dean for Graduate Medical Education at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and is currently Vice chairman of the Department of Surgery, and Chief of General Surgery at Mount Sinai Beth Israel. 
About the Guest: Dr. Howlett practices in rural Belleville, WI through the University of Wisconsin Health system. She earned her medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine in Richmond, Virginia. She then went on to complete her residency in family medicine at Aurora Health in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Dr. Howlett practices full scope family medicine with OB and inpatient care.
About the Guest: Dr. Smith is an infectious disease physician and assistant professor at the University of Wisconsin. She completed medical school, her residency in internal medicine and her fellowship in infectious disease all at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. Currently, Dr. Smith serves as the medical director of the Transplant Infectious Disease Program and is a leader in the medical school infectious disease curriculum.
About the Guest: Dr. Svenson is the assistant director of global health for the University of Wisconsin Department of Emergency Medicine. He completed medical school at the University of Chicago and completed residency in pediatrics at Maine Medical Center before switching to emergency medicine. Dr. Svenson has a number of interests including global health, medical education, and emergency care.
About the Guest: Dr. Hart practices at Roswell Obstetrics and Gynecology in Atlanta and serves as a clinical assistant professor at the Medical College of Georgia. She earned her medical degree from Drexel University in Philadelphia and then went on to complete her residency at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis. Dr. Hart has special interests in high risk obstetrics, pediatric and adolescent gynecology, and minimally invasive surgery.

He is also an accomplished author, having published articles in the New York Times and The Huffington Post, and having written several books.
About the Guest: Dr. Poore is a plastic and reconstructive surgeon at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics. He earned his medical degree and PhD from Brown University before completing his residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at UW Hospital. Dr. Poore then completed a fellowship in Microsurgery and Research at the Bernard O’Brien Institute of Microsurgery in Melbourne, Australia in 2010. His clinical interests include microvascular surgery with an emphasis on breast reconstruction, hand reconstruction and post-bariatric body contouring.
About the Guest: Dr. Ghafoor is an addiction medicine psychiatrist based out of the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area. She began her training by completing an accelerated B.S./M.D. program through Villanova University and Drexel University College of Medicine. Dr. Ghafoor completed her residency in Psychiatry at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, NJ where she also served as the Chief Resident. Dr. Ghafoor completed a one-year clinical fellowship in addiction psychiatry at the University of Pennsylvania. She has special interests in addiction, eating and mood disorders, and women’s mental health. About the Guest: Dr. Sam Lubner is a faculty member in the Division of Hematology, Medical Oncology and Palliative Care at UW-Madison. He completed medical school at University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, his internship and residency training in Internal Medicine at Washington University School of Medicine and a fellowship in Hematology/Oncology back at UWSMPH.  He directs the Hematology and Medical Oncology fellowship program and serves on the Education Committee for the Department of Medicine.
About the Guest: Dr. Stephenson is a clinical radiologist and an assistant professor of radiology here at the University of Wisconsin. He attended Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis before completing a residency and fellowship at the Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology. His clinical interests include soft tissue and bone biopsy, spine and joint injection, vertebroplasty, and musculoskeletal MRI.
About the Guest: Dr. Fiedler is a cardiothoracic surgeon here at the University of Wisconsin. She attended George Washington University School of Medicine before completing a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Cardiothoracic Research at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, MA. She then went on to complete her residency in general and cardiothoracic surgery followed by a clinical surgery fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital.
