What a joy it was to chat with Kayleigh, owner of local cleaning company Maid to Sparkle. Her honesty & ability to be so real & authentic - you can't help but fall in love with her. She shares how it felt to get on the Shift Stage, how she went from being the most outgoing child to suddenly the most quiet & insecure. Creating her own business from the branding to actually running it essentially on her own (with the support of family & her loving husband who is her biggest cheerleader). Her story is so inspiring & RELATABLE! Kayleigh also has a wonderful initiative she has created - The 7th annual MARGARET’S SANTA TO A SENIOR EVENT!! This is to help seniors living in our community who are low-income and might otherwise be alone at Christmas. To allow them to wake up Christmas morning with a smile on their face, presents under their tree, and more importantly — a feeling of love and connection. This year she is teaming up with Connections for Seniors & SeniorsNL where they will donate care packages that will include both essentials and prizes, spreading joy and magic to their seniors in need. As always, they will be looking for help from the community of PHYSICAL donations from the list below. -OR- they also accept MONETARY donations from individuals and businesses that can be forwarded to kayleigh@sparklingday.ca (Please be sure to put STS in the note section) THE DEADLINE IS DECEMBER 13th! Our number of seniors has already almost reached 80 this year. Please message us for drop off locations! You can find Kayleigh on Facebook or Instagram: Maid To Sparkle. Or at her website: www.sparklingday.ca
In this episode, I'm grateful to interview my father, Dave Coultas, who has reinvented himself more than once. At age 66, my dad continues to push the boundaries and comfort zones in his life. He recently embarked on a move to Paraguay, where he has had to learn a new language, make new friends, and adjust to this new way of living while navigating his relationships back home. He thrives on taking care of himself. A yogi, a gym rat, a cold shower advocate - we can learn a lot from him & his passion to keep moving. My dad inspires me every day to push myself and live a life of authenticity. Even though hard at times, I do believe that these decisions have made our relationship stronger. I hope this episode inspires those that may feel a little stuck or like it's too late to start something new.
In this episode, I talk to Rebecca about her life & all the experiences that led her here to this moment: Opening up a new space, writing 2 childrens books, travelling solo to fulfill her love of experiencing live music, all on the heels of a 15 year career as a massage therapist. And of course, doing it scared every step of the way. You can find Rebecca on Instagram HERE. Or follow Chirp's Large Day Here & HERE.
This episode is everything you need and more to light a fire inside you & get you motivated to take action in your life. They tell us everything from how the idea was born to how they put it into action in just a short period of time. We go deep on the hard behind the scenes stuff that is so important to hear, and how much they've grown since putting off 2 of these events now and soon to be a 3rd. I reference the Arkhe Collective here as well as my 90's Movement Collab happening on July 31st.
In this episode, I share some personal experiences I've had in the last month where I've put myself out there & what the outcome has been. Continuing to push through fear each & every day and what I'm learning about myself through that process.

Another deep dive where I share about turning 45! Reflections & advice I would give to my younger self. How declaring bankruptcy changed my life for the better, finding my voice through asking hard questions & learning to love myself through these experiences.
In this episode, Gina shares some personal truths that she's never shared on a podcast before. Gina Keeping - Ex Classroom Teacher turned Life Coach & Speaker, shares with us how hitting rock bottom & being diagnosed with major burnout & PTSD was just the beginning of looking at her life from a new lens & facing the biggest fears & challenges of her life. We talk about the struggles of being misunderstood, being your own cheerleader in the face of adversity & how there really are no shortcuts when it comes to working on yourself. The inner work is the "unsexy" answer, as Gina says, but she shares with us how trying to avoid that very piece left her with some difficult choices that led her down the path of self-discovery that she is forever grateful for. So many incredible takeaways in this episode. You really don't want to miss it. You can find Gina on Instagram as Gina Keeping. This episode is straight from the heart. Navigating through a difficult time is tough. Letting down your walls so that you can let people in is a flex. And it's scary af. It's not easy to do but something I'm learning through my discussions with loved ones is that NO ONE HAS THEIR SHIT TOGETHER! We're all just out here doing the best we can. In this episode, I discuss my own struggles with letting my walls down in hopes that it will resonate with others struggling with the same thing. Understanding that YOU MATTER. It's ok to not be happy all the time and it's sure as heck o.k to let people see ALL sides of you. Not just the good parts.

In this solo episode, I chat a bit about my mental health struggles in the last several days. In light of it being Mental Health Awareness Month, I share how getting out of my own way has been a huge part of my day to day as of late. And the kinds of things I've done to navigate that. Again, I share these things from my own perspective, simply to help others that are stuggling to not feel so isolated & alone in their experiences. The more we can talk about these things the more we can normalize it.
In this episode, I talk about my struggles with deciding to stop dying my hair & embrace my grey. I'm celebrating 1 year dye free & it's been quite an interesting journey to get here. I also touch on the struggles of showing up as a woman in society when the world has so many opinions about how we should look. It's not easy to show up as your true authentic self but there is a liberation around it that I want to talk about. No judgment. Just REAL talk about the subject. I also mention my FREE Doin' It Scared MASTERCLASS happening this Thursday, March 14th, 7:30pm NST.
