How are children being harmed by psychiatric practices and why is almost no one talking about it? In this powerful and eye opening episode, Diane Stein, President of CCHR Florida, exposes the hidden dangers of psychiatric abuse and the growing overmedication of children. She also explains the mission of the Citizens Commission on Human Rights and how education, awareness, and legal advocacy are protecting families and restoring basic human rights. This episode shines a light on a topic that directly affects parents, educators, and anyone who cares about the future of children. Diane is also a longtime devout Scientologist and she explains which Scientology tools she uses daily to help others. If you are a parent, professional, or concerned citizen wondering what is really happening behind the scenes in mental health care, this episode delivers real facts, real warnings, and real solutions from someone on the front lines of the fight. 👉 Take a personality test: https://ddnpod.com/test Free Baker Act Help: 800-782-2878 Links Mentioned in this episode: https://cchrflorida.org/ https://www.scientology.org/tonescale https://www.scientology.org/courses/ Follow us on other places: https://www.instagram.com/thedontdonothingpodcast/ https://www.facebook.com/DDNPod https://www.tiktok.com/@dontdonothingpod https://x.com/dontdonothing8 Follow Diane: https://www.instagram.com/dianestein/ https://www.facebook.com/dianestein https://dianedstein.com/ Time Stamps: 0:00 Intro 0:42 Who Is Diane Stein 4:35 Her Mother's Baker Act & What the Law Really Says 9:51 38,000 Kids a Year: Baker Acting Children 13:47 Barred From Leaving: A Real Hospital Rescue 17:28 The For-Profit Machine & Changing the Law 30:29 Electroshock, Psych Drugs & Advocating for Yourself 34:49 50+ Laws Passed & Covert School Screening 41:01 Youth Suic*de: What the Data Really Shows 48:41 Real Solutions: Nutrition & Exercise 52:00 Fighting Back: Lawsuits & the BADASS Attorneys 56:37 How Diane Found Scientology & the Tool She Uses Most 1:11:01 What Is Scientology in Diane's Words #scientology #dontdonothing #psychiatry #CCHR #humanrights
In this episode of the Don't Do Nothing Podcast, Gunnar Scharf shares how he became one of the most-watched voices talking openly about Scientology, seen more than 40 million times in under a year, all from Minnesota. Gunnar is a full-time staff member at the Church of Scientology of Twin Cities who funds his life as a construction consultant. He explains how a friendly competition with another staff member pushed him to start posting, why people all over the world now message him asking "where do I start," and how he answers them: start with a book, pick one thing you want to handle, and find out for yourself. He also tells his own story: how his parents found Scientology when he was a kid, how a wrist injury that surgeries couldn't fix got better after Dianetics counseling, and how he went from partying and drifting off his purpose to dedicating his life to helping people. Along the way he breaks down the ideas that changed how he sees everything, from "misunderstood words" and how to actually study, to why doing things you're not proud of quietly pulls you away from your own goals. Everyone wants the overnight success. Rafferty Pendery will tell you it only took him about nine years to get one. For a long time he worked 20-hour days and took home just $1,000 a month, and he even brought his laptop on dates. Then something changed. In this episode of the Don't Do Nothing Podcast, entrepreneur Rafferty Pendery shares one of the wildest life stories we've had on the show. As a kid, he watched his father, Scientology Freedom Medal recipient Rick Pendery, walk into Mexican prisons to get some of the most hardened criminals on the planet off drugs, over 8,000 of them, even after cartels put a hit on him. Rafferty visited prison at 14, and it set the purpose he's lived by ever since: help people. He breaks down how he finished high school at 14 using the Study Technology from L. Ron Hubbard, started a clothing company at 11, taught himself to build websites, and worked his way into a NASA Mars research project and the Explorers Club. Then comes the business turnaround: how he went from broke and burned out to running multiple companies, including a security business that hit a $15 million run rate in 10 months, by learning to build processes instead of grinding harder. Along the way: why most people treat their business like prison, how to trust yourself while still being willing to be wrong, and why "the guy who does right by others ultimately wins." You know him as Logan Echolls from Veronica Mars. What you might not know is that Jason Dohring walked away from Hollywood and started Farms. In this episode of the Don't Do Nothing Podcast, actor Jason Dohring opens up about his career and his faith. He shares what made Veronica Mars so special, why he loves playing the "bad guy," the craft secret that separates great actors from good ones ("it's literally their ideas"), and stories from working alongside people like Kristen Bell and meeting John Travolta. He also talks about his late father, Doug Dohring, the man behind Neopets and ABCmouse, and what he learned from him about hard work and treating people well. But the heart of the conversation is how Scientology shaped his life. Jason describes reading L. Ron Hubbard's essay on professionalism at 17 and deciding to be a pro at whatever he did, the counseling at 13 that made him stop mistreating his brothers, and the Student Hat course that finally taught him how to learn (which is how he now teaches himself everything from acting to farming). He gets into The Way to Happiness, the kids' courses that calmed his household, and the tools that he says made him a better husband over 25 years and a better dad. Then there's the farm. Jason breaks down why he believes food is making people sick, and how he's growing chemical-free fruit through regenerative farming, no spraying, 40 kinds of mango, and a lot of hard-won knowledge about soil, trees, and doing it the right way. Have we lived before? Serge Ramelli is certain of it, and he says it changed the entire course of his life. In this episode of the Don't Do Nothing Podcast, French photographer Serge Ramelli opens up about growing up in Scientology and how it shaped everything he's become. His mom discovered Scientology in Paris in 1977 after a shy, standoffish neighbor suddenly transformed into a warm, outgoing person, so his mom literally knocked on her door and asked what she had done. When Serge was seven, his mother told him he was a spiritual being who had lived before, and he says it instantly rang true. At 11, he wandered into a lecture on past lives, the speaker asked the room to recall something from 300 years ago, and something came up. A Dianetics session the next day, he says, brought it back with full emotion and detail. Years later he even researched one past-life incident and says he found that the person had existed and died exactly as he'd remembered. As a young man, Serge was weighed down by deep self-doubt and sadness that held him back from the creative life he'd always wanted. His mom gave him over 400 hours of Dianetics auditing, and he went clear at 25. That, he says, is where the confidence came from. He was a broke sales VP living paycheck to paycheck when he finally decided to walk away and become an artist, funded the leap by pitching a Paris hotel owner ("I have a dream, I want to be an artist"), survived toxic business partners, and rebuilt through a scrappy YouTube channel that took off. Today Serge is the official photographer of the city of Las Vegas, has work in 120 galleries worldwide through Yellow Korner, has published eight coffee-table books, and is widely considered the number one photography coach on the internet. He credits the whole journey to Scientology. He now builds his whole production company around past-life stories, including his song "You're Not Your Body."
