the one doctor talking about great visionary leaps forward in medicine, that had disastrous beginnings and lots of deaths, where the doctors were told that they were crazy and what they wanted to do was impossible? he did not mention the guy who pioneered saving premature babies. Men and their priorities. jeez.

I commend her for opening up about the humiliation and the devastation at being sucked into an unbelievable fairy tale. And probably knowing that people like me are going to be critical of her for ir. But he obviously did not "pick the wrong person". He told her the Pope was going to marry them in a castle and the Clintons and Obamas would be there and she believed it. She lost her shit when she found out the Pope was not going to be at her wedding.

welp...well.... ever since hippocrates said first do no harm, the history of medicine and medical research has been full of reckless "experimenters". From Pasteur on down. And full of giant egos who want credit for a "discovery" and a place in history. so really it's not too surprising that his fellow physicians did not get on to him right away.

Wait, I'm supposed to feel sorry for the American lady who's idea of a holiday is reckless drunk driving in Spain? And not telling her friends & family to cancel their flights until a month before? Paolo sounds like a pretty ideal match for her

I'm not even going to listen to the intervew...why was that even necessary, the entire season was about whiny Benita. I want an interview with the creator about why they focused on the Dr's love life and not the death he caused, which I thought was the entire point of the show.

I'm disappointed this seems to be about a relationship with someone who happens to be a doctor and not about the horrible things he did as a doctor which I thought was the point of the show.

Agree with everyone else. This season made me upset. I’m sorry but the victims were the patients who were mercilessly used a lab rats. The whole season was focused on Benita. I get it, she was duped and it sucks. But ending the season on if he loved her or not. Good lord, people died. Focus on the actual patients who lives were changed, not a bad romance.

Benita really thinks she is just as much of a victim as the patients he killed. This podcast all about her is not helping.

Wow a lot of keyboard warriors in the comments. I guess all the docs that worked at the Karolinska Institute were all gullible dumdums too huh? He literally got away with operating on ppl without ethical approval. That can’t be done by just any regular joe.
