THE COMMUNITY BUCKET IS: A "Side Bucket" extension to the Dream Bucket with Jon as the host. In this, an assortment of characters from within the Dream Bucket community with KC, Nick, and Jon will join to share their expertise and wisdom related to community solutions. The subjects will start in the area of family and community life, and, like the Dream Bucket, bounce around to whatever comes up. On this episode two community workers and a public defendant talk restorative justice in the courts as well as restorative justice in the streets. Byrd and AJax work alongside Jon doing community work in the schools, justice system, and in the streets. They have many years of experience on the street side as well as the community organization side of healing work in Minneapolis and St. Paul. Eddie is new to the group (though a long-time friend of Jon's), and is a public defender in Hennepin County and is looking to advance initiatives on restorative justice. Pretty cool group.
We took an episode down... can you guess which one? Kc toys with quitting the podcast. Who is responsible for hurt? Do we need to sign NDAs with people to be connected to them? Could millennials and no rules days for kids solve all of the world's issues? How many psychics do you need to accept being ghosted? Find out all that and more on this episode! SEND US YOUR DREAMS, WE WILL READ THEM ON THE POD-BUCKET: intothedreambucket@gmail.com
What started as a feud with the trees, has turned into hatred for birds. KC searches for the cause of her drama in nature as the pidgeons reign poop from up above. Perhaps a person could have a trans identity on things other than gender. Maybe if Jon identified as a bird, KC could have group therapy with him so she could work through her problems. Nick sometimes wishes he weren't talking about so many things that could get him cancelled. KC did go to New Orleans. It was muggy. She ran her banking operation. Fuck the birds. Send your dreams in! intothedreambucket@gmail.com, we guarantee that your dream will be read on the next show we record!

What happens when you go Nickless? KC and Daddy Darko had to cast a pod without their favorite film critic.

On this round, Neka, her brother Manny, and self-professed parenting expert Scott talk about the various dynamics of parenting and the supports around us while we do it. Scott has been at it the longest, while Neka is a single mom with a 2 and 3 year old. Manny was not inspired to have kids by listening to us talk. We hope you enjoy!
The trio is back with another trip to the Dream Bucket. Is KC going to pee her pants in a session, or find the love of her life while a vet fixes her shelves? It turns out Nick knows how to use a gun. It is likely what he needs to protect the TV that he has to make sure they can't take away his access to his movie collection. Jon can't remember if he forgot to forgive or needed to forgive himself for forgetting, but we can all agree that the Hobosexual was not worth peeing your pants for. Will KC finish her dissertation? Should she write it about dating apps and what they say about the health of relationships in the present day? If she finishes, her professor says she will be in the 7% who do. It's not the 1%, but it's damn close. Send your errant thoughts, shower thoughts, random wonderings about life in the Dream Bucket at intothedreambucket@gmail.com so we can riff off your ideas. Thanks for listening!

With 5 guests and 4 microphones, they all learned as they went. This episode discussed building connections, community, and the different ways we navigate and see manhood. How do different generations approach emotions and expression? How do we guide or not guide the youth through the transition from boyhood to manhood? The group discusses their various experiences with the process, and what they wish for in their surroundings. Another authentic, genuine, and thoughtful discussion amongst friends who share in community; the Dream Bucket does what it does.
Hi again. We've done it again and are excited to share! Please E-mail us at intothedreambucket@gmail.com. Send us your dreams aka shower thoughts for us to pull out of the bucket at the end of each episode. For this episode, I've asked Chat GPT to make a description...here it is! It's not really very accurate...but that's something that comes with AI, political candidates, corporate financial statements, all that stuff. In this uproarious episode of "Bucked Dreams," Kc, Nick, and Jon embark on a hilariously chaotic exploration of space burial—under the influence. Amidst laughter and questionable decisions, they delve into the absurdity of unconventional burial practices, from rocketing ashes into orbit to, yes, even the bizarre realm of drunk pooping and poop drinking (don't ask). As they navigate the fine line between existential ponderings and bodily functions, join them for an unforgettable journey through the cosmos of conversation. From dying alone to social planning gone awry, this episode guarantees laughs, gasps, and perhaps a bit of introspection—all with a side of intergalactic absurdity. Tune in, but be warned: it's a wild ride from start to finish! Thanks Chad...I could've said it better myself, but not at this hour of the evening. The future! To space, where Nick can be lain (don't worry, on last report he is not dead yet)!

The subjects will start in the area of family and community life, and, like the Dream Bucket, bounce around to whatever comes up. Our first guest is a dear friend Alec Rogers with his daughter Aniyla. We discussed kids sports, the park board, and being involved in our kids' schools. We won't say much more about what came up, but at the end, Aniyla gave it a boringness rating of 6 out of 10...well maybe 7 she said. Perhaps it's not geared for the 2nd grade crowd, but you might enjoy it!
Why did Mark do what Mark did? Does Mark keep his pants up while using the urinal in the bathroom? Will KC find a way to setup Mark with one of her other friends? Can we start our own dating app where KC plays matchmaker? Is Mark ok? I vote for the last one, but apparently KC doesn't really want to get rich after all...I digress...since that is what we do on the Dream Bucket. Come, enjoy, send us one of your digressionary thoughts into our bucket of strange ideas that just might come true...intothedreambucket@gmail.com.
We're back in 2024! On a cruise, seeking engagement, only to find that Casablanca isn't as romantic as we had hoped. Thanksgiving is often a time for family bonding and coming together over their gratefulness to healing connections. But it often is not at all that, holy crap. Also folks; it's not a New Year's Resolution if it starts on January 2nd, 80 days baby! Listen to us, find your life path, get rich. And send an E-mail of an errant ponderance into the Dream Bucket please. intothedreambucket@gmail.com. To those that have, it's been very fun to bounce off your wild minds.

Why wouldn't Skechers wear a shirt that fits to the date? How do we help the children know not to call people "Poopy?" Also, does anyone know about Internal Family Systems? With now two fully licensed therapists (congrats KC) on the show, the group dives into the "all parts are welcome" approach to self-analysis. But what is so funny about poop anyway? E-mail us at intothedreambucket@gmail.com. Like really. I mean, it's been 6 months. Just test it out. Just say, "hi, I'm here, is this real." If you have a pondering thought, an aspiration, a curiosity, a dream of a better world, or a solution for world peace, send it in the format of "I dream of..." and we'll throw it in the hat. Or the new bucket we started talking about but then got distracted because that is the nature of these things. Intothedreambucket@gmail.com. Maybe our E-mail inbox has a dream-catcher filter on it. Is there a folder for that?
The gang explores if a Daishiki is really breathable. Jon fails to protect KC from a bonnet blunder. KC calls out entitled rich lady at the Sushi shop. This episode dives into culture, appropriation, and Nick's listening to Oxy Cotton until he crashed his car. Perhaps he'd have been helped out by better Cultural Appropriation Insurance coverage. At least in Minnesota it's no fault. Valium could've helped that bash. Doo do doo do doo do do doo.
What does it mean when a guy refuses to take you on a date? Is it as bad as when you are accused of being a bully after leading the bridesmaids through a shit-show? Does Beyonce have wierd poops too? Can you really judge a person by the quality of their poop? KC may be accused of being too rigid by her ex-boyfriend, but that doesn't mean she didn't get a massage in Turks and Caicos. Jon, KC, and Nick take on life's challenges with humor and depth for another round of the Dream Bucket. If you have any Dreams (imaginative ideas that sound appealing) you'd like to send our way, please E-mail us at intothedreambucket@gmail.com.
