As they blow a 14 point lead, Chris Jones gives up, Special teams mistakes, and so many penalties are the reason they go down. The road doesn’t get any easier, as the Lions come to town. This week on Drop the Ball the Boys discuss the Chiefs going 0-2 and what the hell is happening with the offense. Mahomes is playing too much hero ball, the receivers aren’t there (yet), Trav is old, and the running game is non-existent. This week the Royals officially are all back for Spring Training! They started spring by extending General Manager, J.J. Picollo and Matt Quatraro so they are Royals for the immediate future! Jonathan India and Michael Massey are splitting time at 2B/OF, MJ’s got a new swing, and Jac Caglianone is leaving an impact on Bobby Witt Jr. There’s a good ‘ol competition going on in the outfield and we are here for it, with Nick Pratto being a name we highlight.
