All good things come to those who wait, as Taylor, Hannah AND the audience at this Edinburgh Fringe show found out, when our fantastic guest, Emma Doran, made a triumphant entrance onto the stage and proceeded to tell us about the crime that infiltrates her life and why she should probably let calls go to voicemail. The gang then investigates a case SO eighties, you'll sprout shoulder pads by the end of the ep. Finally, a brave soul from the audience really earned their set of DWSC coasters, by recounting an incident perpetrated by some thugs with a penchant for Botox.Download SAILY in your app store and use our code drunkwomen at checkout to get an exclusive 15% off your first purchase! On the second DWSC show of this year's Edinburgh Fringe, our guest detective was the fantastic Jamie Lee, who began proceedings by telling us about several mysterious incidents which involved either the messiest, or cleanest perp, depending on your perspective. We then hear about a story where the protagonist couldn't waddle his way out of this p-p--particular heist! Finally, a member of the audience shares a story which leads to many questions regarding men's ability to multitask.Download SAILY in your app store and use our code drunkwomen at checkout to get an exclusive 15% off your first purchase! T'was the first night of Edinburgh and all through the house, 300 creatures stirred to watch the Drunk Women - and special guest Rachel Galvo - pop some corks and solve some crimes!Rachel started off the evening by telling us about the time she accidentally broke into a masonic type ritual, where Richard Osman held high office**. The team then investigate a crime where the perp more than took poetic license in his criminal endeavours. Finally, we hear from a member of the audience, whose pet peeve is having their rubbish tampered with! ** disclaimer - it almost definitely wasn't Richard Osman. Don't forget DWSC now drops TWICE weekly! It's part two of the DWSC's jaunt to the Ventnor Fringe last month, and today we're joined by local MP for Isle of Wight West, Richard Quigley, who told us about his mother's misdemeanours on his childhood haircuts, as well as the time he witnessed a robbery as a student. The team then delves into a story of an eccentric leader, who would still be preferable to some of today's real life offerings. We also hear about the time Taylor married The Hoff and when the Isle of Wight attempted to have its own currency. Finally we hear from a member of the audience who seeks answers for a crime connected to an ill-advised teenage party with a whole host of subjects to choose from. Download SAILY in your app store and use our code drunkwomen at checkout to get an exclusive 15% off your first purchase! This week's episodes take place on the Drunk Women's annual seaside holiday to the sunny Isle of Wight, where they also decided to do a couple of shows at the fabulous Ventnor Fringe!Episode one features the brilliant Jessica Fostekew, who popped in before her own show to tell us about the time a guy called 'Dave' managed to fleece the till when Jess was perhaps the world's youngest coffee shop manager. She then gives Hannah and Taylor a hand in solving the intricacies of an escapade which took place on the Isle and could easily be the sequel to 'Planes Trains and Automobiles'. Finally, we hear from audience member London cabbie Dave (not that Dave), who gives us the most outrageous 'you'll never guess who I had in the back of my cab' story ever!Don't forget DWSC now drops TWICE weekly! The studio was bursting at the seams during this recording, as Hannah and Taylor welcomed the stars of the 'Killers, Cults and Queens' podcast, Nikki and Cheryl, as well as a veritable posse of onlookers sitting at the side-lines. As Nikki and Cheryl are no strangers to crimey content, it's not surprising that they each came armed with stories of ne'er-do-wells infiltrating their own lives, which includes spectral beings and TV producers - so not too dissimilar. The gang then investigates a case in which Taylor displays a surprising amount of knowledge on the art of knife throwing, before delving into a listener crime which could be referred to as 'The Italian Job' , but on a slightly smaller scale.  Don't forget DWSC now drops TWICE weekly! Absolute scenes at DWSC HQ when MAFS* very own expert on all things sex and relationships, Charlene Douglas, popped in to show that her skills in psychology transfer seamlessly to crime solving, although her scam radar probably needs a fine tune if her opening story is anything to go by.The team then look into a case which proves six year olds tread a fine line between master manipulator and being the worst criminal sidekick you could employ. Finally, we hear from a listener who almost suffered an Irish goodbye of her belongings. *Married at First Sight UK!The Drunk Women are back at the Edinburgh Fringe!Catch them every day at 5'55pm at The Cowbarn, Bristow Sq from 15th-24th August Drunk Women Solving Crime | Edinburgh Festival FringeDon't forget DWSC now drops TWICE weekly! Today's episode was recorded at July's Crossed Wires Festival in Sheffield, where not only was it DWSC's debut in that fair city, but they also happened to be joined on stage by bona fide local royalty in the form of Pulp's legendary drummer and man about town, Nick Banks!Nick kicked off proceedings by recounting not one, but TWO terrifying tales of 1990s superfandom, aided and abetted by props produced from his Aldi bag. The team then took a deep dive into some Sheffield based criminal activity from 100 years ago, before hearing from a member of the audience who took a leaf out of our guests book and told us two crime stories from their own life, one involving a very salty thief. The Drunk Women are back at the Edinburgh Fringe!Catch them every day at 5'55pm at The Cowbarn, Bristow Sq from 15th-24th August Drunk Women Solving Crime | Edinburgh Festival FringeDon't forget DWSC now drops TWICE weekly! What a day it was at DWSC HQ, as not only were we joined by actor and writer of the detective series Karen Pirie*, Emer Kenny, but we also had a visit from fabulous listener (and competition winner) Margareta, who popped over from Sweden to get on the mic and share a mystery of one very slick intruder. Before that though, Emer kicked things off by telling us about the time some suspicious 'substances' arrived anonymously through the post - and why the garden shed is the best place to store such items, before helping Hannah and Taylor get to the bottom of a German heist, which turned out to be more than double trouble.*All episodes of Karen Pirie are now available to stream on ITVX. It's the second drop of the week and part two of the latest DWSC live residency. Today the hilarious Matthew Crosby popped by to verify if any of his 'enemies' went out of their way to steal his car. Today's case then confirms that reunions are on the whole a very bad idea, often leading to murderous thoughts. And finally, we finally find out 'who let the dogs out', thanks to a member of the audience! We're at the final DWSC residency of 2025, and are joined by the incredible, Blank Peng, who is arguably the busiest gal in comedy - and with very good reason. Blank starts us off by explaining why horny teenagers might have enabled China's perceived abilities in hacking, before helping Taylor and Hannah get a leg up with a case from the golden age of Hollywood. Finally, we hear from an audience member, who tells us a story more puzzling than the Bermuda Triangle itself! In this ep, the wonderful Robyn Perkins is here to share a story of how an overprotective mum's imagination resulted in police action. The team then go back to the early twentieth century to talk about a case which shows they really are birds of a feather when it comes to crime solving. Finally, this week's listener crime means a close shave for one unsuspecting family member. Today, comedian Liz Guterbock popped in to tell us about the time a thief had clear aspirations to join the Dalston elite - and most likely had a beard - before helping to solve a bank heist which was far from a load of bologna. The food based thievery then continues, as some 'event cheese' absconds from a communal fridge. In this week's second helping, the fabulously funny Carl Donnelly regales us with the time he solved a crime while showing skills worthy of 007. The gang then goes potty to help get to the bottom of a crime story turned tourist attraction. Finally our listener crime lets us really see how the sausage gets made. The Drunk Women are LIVE this summer ...You can see them on the Isle of Wight at The Ventnor Fringe on July 18th and 19th Live - Drunk Women Solving Crime - The UK's hit true crime comedy podcastAND they will also be at the Edinburgh Fringe from 15th-24th August Drunk Women Solving Crime | Edinburgh Festival FringeDon't forget DWSC now drops TWICE weekly! Today, comedian Katie Norris popped in to tell Hannah and Taylor about the time she was an unwitting foil in a service station heist, as well as to help unpack a crime perpetrated by airheads of world record breaking proportions. 374 DRUNK MILE

Time for another mash up and today, we're joined by Mike from hit True Crime Podcast 'Murder Mile' and together we are DRUNK MILE!We start in a way familiar to us, with Mike telling us about the time he was the victim of a crime, then for the first time in DWSC history Hannah and Taylor have a crime story presented to them by the studio guest, as Mike opens a cold case from history which really has legs. Finally, we finish the same way as always with a crime story from a DWSC listener, and if nothing else the team solves the puzzle of what rhymes with 'orange'.The Drunk Women are LIVE this summer ...You can see them on the Isle of Wight at The Ventnor Fringe on July 18th and 19th Live - Drunk Women Solving Crime - The UK's hit true crime comedy podcastAND they will also be at the Edinburgh Fringe from 15th-24th August Drunk Women Solving Crime | Edinburgh Festival FringeDon't forget DWSC now drops TWICE weekly! Today's episode should be called 'Return of the Petts', because seasoned detective Chloe Petts decided to pop into DWSC HQ once more to help us solve a crime or two. Luckily for us, our guest had another criminal act to report, and it's not that we once again made Chloe record with us during a heatwave. The team then talks about the role tap dancing can play in crime, and how to shut a circus. Finally, our listener crime proves that toddlers are really just drunk adults in disguise, plus we find out what Hannah overheard at soft play... The Drunk Women are LIVE this summer ...You cab see them on the Isle of Wight at The Ventnor Fringe on July 18th and 19th Live - Drunk Women Solving Crime - The UK's hit true crime comedy podcastAND they will also be at the Edinburgh Fringe from 15th-24th August Drunk Women Solving Crime | Edinburgh Festival FringeDon't forget DWSC now drops TWICE weekly! In our second ep this week, comedian Seán Burke pops on the show in the hope of clearing his name of a popular childhood criminal activity of which he was wrongly accused - justice for Sean! The gang then takes to the skies to discuss a story of one particular mile high club you do NOT want membership of. Finally, the detectives try to track down some stolen items for one lucky listener, risking food poisoning in the process. The Drunk Women are LIVE all over the UK this summer ...In Sheffield at The Crossed Wires Festival 2025! Today we're joined by the fabulous comedian, Spring Kathryn Day, whose crime story of an encounter in Japan will leave everyone to ponder 'where IS the internet?' We then hear about a tawdry tale of double identity, medical misdemeanours and parks, while our listener crime will have you emptying the change jar to buy yourself a pizza! The Drunk Women are LIVE all over the UK this summer ...In Sheffield at The Crossed Wires Festival 2025! Today's ep is very much a 'part two' of what happened at May's London residency show, and joining in the fun is the fantastic Kate Cheka! Kate kicks things off with an epic tale of criminal activity taking place in salubrious, if rather seedy surroundings. We then hear about a case which for those involved really is the pits, while today's audience crime left some would be thieves fearing what may be on the cards for them. The Drunk Women are LIVE all over the UK this summer ...You can see them at their London Residency on 27th June. So lucky I’m not there or would have been muttering ‘hanged’ (and not sotto voce…) twice.

Pleas back announce the name of the podcast made by your guest. Do it want to listen enough to research. You spent maybe 4 minutes so far on the topic - plenty of time to name the product. John of Henley

What ever you do, don’t listen to this episode if you’re doing something that needs your full attention and/or control. I was laughing so much I almost crashed the van I was driving. Drunk Women is always worth a listen but Jess Robinson is incredibly funny, or psychopathic (not quite sure) Keep up the drinking ladies, I’m a big fan.
