In the Falcons report we talked about the trade deadline has come and gone, the Falcons hung onto Austin Hooper, and Carl Dukes says the team did so because they Hooper is in the team’s long term plans.Carl asked if you pay Austin Hooper $9-10 million a year. “The Falcons have been trying to extend Austin Hooper, whose value all of a sudden has skyrocketed if you go look at the average tight end salaries we’re talking about $9-10 million a year.” Dukes said “Sources have said to me they when they were in Phoenix they were very close to a deal and ironically Austin Hooper’s agent said let’s wait, and now Austin Hooper’s value has continued to rise. The reason the Falcons came out over the weekend and said they’re not trading Austin Hooper is they do have intentions on retaining him, do you pay Austin Hooper $9-10 million a season?” Mike said he’s glad the team didn’t move Hooper at the trade deadline. “When you develop a player like an Austin Hooper, he was a third round pick who comes into his own, you’re seeing the numbers, he’s a good piece, does everything that we ask of him.” Bell said “But a new coach, a new regime might feel differently, they might want to keep him, might want to move him, I don’t know, but I’m glad this organization right now didn’t move him at the trade deadline.”
It was time for the “Strong Arm Story.”
ICYMI MIKE CONTI.

Preached: 27 Oct 2019: pm (Judges 7:1 - 8:3)
In the Falcons report we talked about the It was time for the “Strong Arm Story.” It was time for the “Top 3” headlines segment at 6.
Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Schaub joined Dave Archer during the Dan Quinn Coach’s show.
Schaub talked about what’s happening with the team at 1-7.
“We understand what’s out there but inside our walls and facility we only focus on our football, our jobs and our assignments and playing mistake free, play consistently good football.” Schaub said “Yesterday we dug ourselves a hole, 24-0 nothing at the half and we moved the football, we got across the fifty and had to settle for long field goal attempts we that didn’t make. We drove the ball, moved the football up and down the field all day, we had a couple of turnovers that hurt drives and gave them points so it was a culmination of a lot of things but we did a lot of good things in the game too that we can hang our hat on and move forward with but we got to eliminate some of the mistakes were making and play consistently better across the board.”
SURPRISE! Not only do we get to talk about our favorite topic (Firearms) and answer all of your questions during gun Q&A this morning, in hour two we get to talk to Governor Mike Dunleavy about what's happening in the State AND we get a weekend movie review with Willie Waffle. Whew...what a day!
