Your current level of success is linked with programming and conditioning you received in childhood from your family and others growing up. It’s important for you to identify who or what is blocking your current level of success, so you can do some EFT tapping to transform it.
Entrenched in the mindset of almost every artist on the planet is the thought of being a starving artist or at the very least a struggling artist. It can be hard for you as a writer to keep the faith and believe that your efforts will bear fruit, especially if you’re holding down a day-job to pay your bills and then writing in your spare time. While you eagerly await a resounding YES and an offer of representation to be delivered into your email inbox, it’s to your advantage to do some EFT tapping to shake off any limiting beliefs and transform your mindset to one of a thriving artist.
Even though as a kid you were forced to eat foods you didn’t like, you can use EFT tapping to allow your inner child to heal from those traumatic experiences.
Most of us resist changing ourselves, because part of us believes that if someone else were to change first, then our life would be easier and less stressful. You can wait your whole life for another person to change and use it as your reason for not changing yourself. Yet some part of you already knows that the only person you can truly change is yourself.

Your trapped emotions—be they positive or negative—play havoc with your mind. Your blocked feelings remain trapped in your heart and cause your heart to ache and to despair for love, joy, laughter, and freedom to be fully self-expressed. Paralyzed by your own heartache, you activate resistance as you look to run from expressing new emotions or to keep old ones stuffed down with food, drinks, and other addictions and distractions.
Many writers inadvertently put on the perfection straitjacket when they sit down to create. You first donned this jacket in your youth while learning to spell and write stories, book reports, and others papers that were to be graded. The perfection straitjacket is like putting your creative imagination on a leash with a choker collar that limits the flow of what needs to come out and get put down in the first couple of drafts. If you regularly experience episodes of writer’s block, it’s to your advantage to look at the ways you strive for perfection in your writing.
You deserve to reach your weight-loss goals simply because you say so and EFT tapping helps make the journey easier for you.
