In this season finale of Expressed, I share something deeply personal: the journey of losing my voice — not physically, but emotionally and spiritually — and the process of finding it again. This conversation is a reflection on the layers that shaped my expression over the last few years, including:How tying my income to my online presence created pressure to say the “right” thingsThe impact of criticism and the online climate on my confidence to share freelyThe way sharing Human Design knowledge gradually replaced my own creative storytellingMy experience in an emotionally abusive relationship and how it silenced parts of meHow deception and being catfished in dating eroded my sense of safety onlineThe longing to belong that led me to keep parts of my life hiddenWhat shifted when I decided to share more of my faith and my baptism publiclyI open up about the fears I held around being judged for my beliefs and how stepping into authenticity created new freedom in my expression. You’ll hear about:The evolution of my work and identity from passion and purpose coaching to leadership, brand, and expression mentoringThe realisation that it’s possible to share more than one side of who you areThe moment I knew I was no longer performing for the world but for an audience of OneWhy my relationship with God and the love of Jesus has been the greatest catalyst for reclaiming my voiceThis is an episode about truth, belonging, and what it means to live expressed. If you’ve ever felt afraid to say the thing that matters most to you — whether it’s your beliefs, your story, or simply your heart — I hope this encourages you to take your own brave step.Resources and Links:Watch my baptism video on Instagram @kirstenmorrison.coListen to my full testimony in Season 2, Episode 1 and Season 3, Episode 6. In this powerful episode, I unpack why entrepreneurship is a sport. I share the profound lessons I learned watching elite sprinters train for the Olympics and how their mindset, preparation, and devotion mirror what it takes to build and sustain meaningful work in business.I also introduce my Create Like an Athlete™ Framework, a fresh approach to planning your creative seasons intentionally so you don’t burn out or back down. You’ll discover why discipline isn’t the enemy of creativity — it’s the training ground that makes lasting impact possible. If you’re feeling stretched, stuck, or unsure how to pace yourself for the long game, this episode will inspire you to step back, recalibrate, and approach your work with renewed clarity and commitment. In This Episode, I CoverWhy entrepreneurship requires the same discipline, endurance and devotion as elite sportThe four creative seasons every entrepreneur cycles through, and how to honour each one:Pre-Season: Preparation and positioningIn-Season: Execution and performanceTransition Season: Reflection and recalibrationOff Season: Recovery and replenishmentHow lack of discipline – not too much of it – is often what leads to burnoutWhy your creative stamina and character matter more than motivationHow to train for the results you want to hold, rather than just wishing for themThree reflection questions to help you identify your current season and next stepsKey Quotes"Potential can spark a vision, but only preparation can sustain it.""Discipline doesn’t drain you, it trains you.""We don’t rise to the level of our goals – we rise to the level of our preparation.""Not everything is meant to be easy, but it is meant to be meaningful."Journal PromptsWhat season am I in right now? What is getting in the way of embracing this season fully? What is the next step I can take to honour where I am?Join Create Like an Athlete™: The Training CampIf this episode resonates with you, I’d love to invite you to join the waitlist for Create Like an Athlete, my training camp designed for women who are ready to build stamina, strengthen their creative capacity and run the race of their calling without burning out.Join the waitlist here: www.kirstenmorrison.co/training-campConnect with MeInstagram: @kirstenmorrison.coMore ways to work together: www.kirstenmorrison.co/ways-to-work-togetherIf you enjoyed this conversation, I’d be so grateful if you’d share it with a friend or leave a review. If you’re feeling like 2025 has already slipped through your fingers — and not quite in the way you pictured — this conversation is for you.In this honest mid-year reflection, I’m sharing my own journey through unexpected challenges, deep surrender, and the quiet transformation that has marked the first half of the year.I’ll walk you through the idea of a Winter Arc: a dedicated season to pause, to reckon with what’s no longer serving you, and to lay the foundations that will carry you into the second half of the year with clarity, conviction, and a steadier heart. From letting go of misaligned visions, to recommitting to the smallest habits that often shape the biggest outcomes, this is an invitation to reset in a way that feels anchored, hopeful, and true to the woman you’re becoming.✨ In This Episode, I Share:Why 2025 has been a year of deep surrender and unexpected plot twistsThe grief and beauty of turning 40 — and releasing old stories about where I should be by nowWhat it means to live a Winter Arc and how to use this season as a springboardFive areas to focus on over the next two months:Reflect – Review what’s worked, what hasn’t, and what you’re carrying forwardRealign – Remove the habits draining your energy and replace them with intentionRecommit – Choose 3–5 simple daily habits to rebuild your foundationsRebuild – Reassess your goals and set clear priorities for the rest of the yearRomanticise – Slow down, be present, and infuse your life with small moments of joyThe power of surrendering your plans to God — and trusting in a bigger story unfolding📝 Episode Highlights“We can’t rebuild what we haven’t reviewed.”“Winter teaches us that beautiful things grow underground first.”“Decide not just what you’re fasting from — but what you’re fasting for.”“Presence isn’t always easy, but it’s where the miracles happen.”💌 Links & ResourcesJoin the Called to Create Broadcast Channel for accountability and support as you walk through your own Winter Arc here.If this episode resonates, share it on Instagram and tag me so I can cheer you on.🙏 Leave a ReviewIf you found this episode helpful, it would mean so much if you’d leave a review on Apple Podcasts or Spotify. Your voice isn’t just how you speak — it’s how you’re felt. It’s the energy, tone and resonance that carry your message beyond the words. And in a noisy online space, it’s not volume that cuts through. It’s clarity. Conviction. Embodied expression. In this episode, I’m diving into the third pillar of the Vision, Value, Voice framework: VOICE.I’ll share how my own journey with expression was shaped — from struggling to speak publicly (yes, even breaking out in heat rash) to becoming someone who leads through their voice and teaches others to do the same. You'll also discover the Unique Vocal Archetypes™ — four energetic styles of expression that reveal how your voice naturally wants to move in the world, and what might be holding it back.Whether you’re a speaker, writer, creator or coach — your voice is your brand. And reclaiming it may be the most powerful shift you make.✨ In this episode, we explore:Why your voice is the most underutilised resource in your businessHow visibility issues live in the body — and what that means for your nervous systemThe story behind the Unique Vocal Archetypes™A breakdown of all 4 archetypes (Oracle, Luminary, Maverick and Alchemist)How to uncover your natural voice and meet the shadow that may be dimming itWhat it looks like to fully embody your voice across content, offers and leadershipWhy refining your voice isn’t about perfection — it’s about presenceTake the free quiz to find out your archetype here.Want to dive into this even deeper? Join us inside Luminous, or check out mentorship options through a three month journey (Essence Mentorship) or single session (Spark Session).Update: Since recording this episode, I’ve refined the archetype names to reflect a deeper alignment with my voice and values. Their essence remains the same — this update simply brings greater clarity to their role in how we express and lead. The Oracle is now The VisionaryThe Alchemist is now The Refiner
The value you carry isn’t fixed. It evolves — with every new season of your brand, every layer of clarity you embody, every expansion of your leadership and expression. But most messaging doesn’t reflect that evolution. It stays tethered to a former version of you — one that may have fit your business last year, but no longer reflects who you are now.In this episode, I’m sharing the Value Mastery Blueprint™, a five-part framework designed to help you reclaim and articulate your value at this new level — so you can lead, speak and create with conviction, not hesitation.Whether you're pivoting, refining or rising — this is the structure that brings your evolution into form.Inside this episode, we explore:Why your value isn’t up for debate — but it does need to be reclaimedThe five layers of the Value Mastery Blueprint™What it really means to build a brand rooted in depth, originality and embodied presenceHow to shift from proving your value to owning it — in voice, identity and directionReady to move from confusion to cohesion? This is one of the core pillars inside Luminous — my 6-week creative leadership experience designed to help you refine your voice, claim your value and architect your next chapter with clarity. If doors have closed, we continue this work deeply inside Essence Mentorship — my private mentorship container for the woman ready to lead with clarity, confidence and creative conviction. You can also book a one off Spark Session to work on this aspect alone.Access the free Value, Vision and Voice training here.
In this episode, we're diving deep into the real meaning of vision — the creative, spiritual and strategic compass behind everything you build. If you’ve been evolving and the clarity that once fuelled you now doesn't quite fit — this conversation will meet you where you're at. Because the next level of your leadership doesn’t begin with what you do — it begins with what you see. And the courage to design from there.I’ll also be sharing reflections inspired by two powerful episodes of Chef’s Table: Legends, and how both Jamie Oliver and José Andrés showed me that legacy isn’t built in the splash — it’s created in the quiet conviction of a visionary life. The difference between a business and a brand — and why vision is the anchor behind bothWhy your next chapter requires new clarity, not more contentThe power of José Andrés’ quote: “Now is the moment you’re shining. That’s the moment you have to make it count.”How the Visioneering Framework™ helps you structure your next chapter with soul and strategyWhy vision is less about what’s visible — and more about what’s possible✨ If this episode spoke to you…This is the foundation we move through inside Luminous — my 6-week creative leadership experience designed to refine your voice, claim your value and expand your brand with clarity and conviction. If Luminous is no longer open, this is also the starting point of my 1:1 mentorship, Essence — where we map and embody the next evolution of your work, together. Or we can work on this aspect in a one off Spark Session.Check out the Free Vision, Value, Voice Training here.
I’m taking you behind the scenes of a season that’s been one of the most challenging — and character-building — I’ve ever walked through. In it, I’m sharing the real truth about discipline, devotion and creative endurance…not as a strategy, but as a way of being.Because what I’ve learned is this:Your vision won’t just require big ideas. It will require inner structure, self-leadership and follow-through — especially when things don’t go to plan.Inside this episode, I dive into:✨ Why my 2025 plan had to be scrapped after a single word — discipline — changed everything✨ The creative and energetic shifts I’ve made (goodbye caffeine, phone mornings and dopamine chasing 👋🏼)✨ How I’ve produced more in five weeks than I did in the five months before — not by doing more, but by focusing on what actually matters✨ Why perseverance isn’t about pushing — but about staying connected to your calling, even when things get quiet✨ What I’ve learned about strength, nervous system regulation and building sustainable momentum (without burning yourself out)Plus, I’m sharing the story of how Sprint came to life — and why it’s not just a program, but a training ground for the leaders who are ready to move with power, focus and clarity. This isn’t a motivational episode. It’s an invitation — to build the kind of creative endurance that lasts.Because success isn’t found in a moment of inspiration. It’s built through repetition, integrity and the decision to keep showing up…even when the results aren’t instant.Ready to run the race of your legacy? In this episode of Expressed, we dive into some observations I have made recently about how Human Design can supports - or hinders - growth, purpose and God’s plan for us.
Human Design has been an incredibly supportive tool in my life and business. But what made it so impactful was not just learning about my design but applying it through consistent action. I saw my confidence grow as I moved.
But for some, I'm noticing it’s becoming a mental and creative roadblock. Today, I’m breaking down the three main ways I see this happening and offering insights to help you move through these hurdles with clarity and faith.
1. Overcomplicating ItIt’s easy to get caught up in the details of your chart, trying to understand every dot, line, and shape before taking action. But true growth comes from experimentation in real life.
2. Using It as an ExcuseSometimes we use our design as a shield to avoid fear or discomfort. While it’s important to honour what feels correct, we also need to discern whether we’re genuinely resting or simply avoiding a breakthrough moment.
3. Misunderstanding ItMisinterpretations like, “Generators can’t have original ideas” or “Projectors can’t launch offers” - can create unnecessary limitations. God’s plan for us is bigger than our understanding of our chart, and it may not always fit neatly into our interpretation of Human Design.
If you feel stuck or like you’re learning a lot without taking action, this episode is your nudge to get curious about what’s holding you back. When we unkink the hose, our genius flows freely.
Welcome back to the Expressed Podcast, loves! In today’s deeply personal episode, I’m sharing an update on my faith journey - one that has completely transformed my life, heart and mind over the past year. Building on where I left off in my 2023 episode A Return to Love, this episode dives into how my anchor word for 2024, Miraculous, unfolded in unexpected ways (as usual lol).
.
We explore:
How I broke the habit of being someone who doubted miracles were possible for me.
The shift from hope to faith and what it means to fully trust in God’s plan.
Powerful moments of divine guidance and how following God’s whispers led to unexpected blessings and connections.
How my 'word' miraculous showed up this year...in an unexpected way.
My initial resistance to a relationship with God and how my heart softened over time.
The practical ways I’ve integrated faith into my life, including prayer, worship music and scripture.
How this journey has brought me deeper peace, resilience and a renewed sense of purpose.
.
This episode is part of a mini-series to close out SZN 3 that will explore my expanded faith journey, how it aligns with Human Design and how I expect my work to evolve in 2025. Stay tuned for upcoming episodes and a special Q&A to close out the season!
