In This Episode You Will Learn About: Why speeding up the sales process won’t work Building a nurturing sequence Creating a manual exchange   Resources: Join our Fastermind by texting the word “FASTER” to 310-421-0416 Text “PODCAST” to 310-496-8363 to get your questions answered on our Q&A segment or get coached on the show!   Show Notes: Let’s talk about something that’s going to help you make more sales. If you own (or aspire to own) a business, if you want to make more money, if you sell anything (and even if you have a job), this advice is for you. The number one problem we’re seeing people run into in their business is missed launch goals, missed sales goals, or just a complete lack of sales. When we dissect each of these scenarios with our coaching clients, what we’re seeing is this: people are rushing the process. They don’t spend time developing relationships with their audience. There are two ways you can nurture your audience and slow down your process to turn each “no” into a “yes”. Build a nurturing sequence. Start with “nice to meet you” and lead people into a list that you own – typically an email or text list. Doing that requires them to agree to open up a relationship with you, but that’s just where the work begins. Now you have to earn their trust and develop the relationship. Give them so much value that eventually they’ll realize if this is what you’re giving away for free, what you have behind the paywall must definitely be worth it. Or you could create a manual exchange. Make sure you show up consistently enough, with enough value in between “nice to meet you” and “would you buy my product?” by creating a private group. You can do this through Clubhouse, by hosting a weekly Zoom call, or Instagram and Facebook Live. When you nurture your audience regularly and recognize them, they will go along with whatever you do. You may say, “I’m already doing all of this!” and that may be true, but if you aren’t seeing the results you want yet, you’re probably still going too fast. Remain patient and recognize that the marketing game is going to require more from you every day. Give people what they want and need and they will come to trust you. And when they do, that’s when you’ll get the “yes” you’re looking for.
In This Episode You Will Learn About: Discovering extra-sensory abilities The difference between feeling and intuition Ways to engage intuition How everything starts with mindfulness The importance of having a goal   Resources: practicalintuition.com Instagram: @lauradayintuit youtube.com/LauraDayCircle Read: Practical Intuition Read: The Circle Visit indeed.com/happy and get a $75 job credit. Text “PODCAST” to 310-496-8363 to get your questions answered on our Q&A segment or get coached on the show!   Show Notes: We’ve all had experiences where we feel connected to things beyond ourselves. And if you’ve ever made a decision based on those feelings, chances are the results turned out well. Laura Day is an intuitive coach that helps people learn how to unpack those intuitions and understand them better so that they can harness them in their daily life. We discuss how to engage your intuition, how feelings can lead us down the wrong path, and using intuition to guide your actions.   Question Highlights: How do we tell the difference between feelings and intuition? How do you tap into your intuition? How do you do things that don’t feel good when you know they are good for you? Where should people get started?   Guest Bio: New York Times bestselling author Laura Day has spent nearly four decades helping individuals, organizations, and companies harness and develop their innate intuitive abilities to create profound change. Newsweek magazine calls her “The $10,000-a-Month Psychic,” adding “When business people need a crystal ball, they turn to consultant Laura Day, the ‘intuitionist.’” The Independent dubbed her “The Psychic of Wall Street.” A-list Hollywood stars and Wall Street executives praise her ability to predict future events – including the 2008 recession – with astounding accuracy. As Brad Pitt has said, “I believe in the gut, and I believe in Laura Day.” Laura’s work has helped demystify intuition and bring it into the mainstream. In her workshops and presentations, she demonstrates the practical, verifiable, and sometimes astonishing uses of intuition in the fields of business, science, medicine, and personal growth. Laura has trained thousands of people and companies to use their brains, perceptions, and “sixth sense” in effective ways to realize their goals. In This Episode You Will Learn About: Balancing the masculine and feminine Giving yourself space Not blaming the algorithm Marketing outside of social media   Resources: Text “PODCAST” to 310-496-8363 to get your questions answered on our Q&A segment or get coached on the show!   Show Notes: Welcome back to “Questionably Awesome!” Today, Evans and I answer your questions about finding your first client and balancing masculine and feminine energy. Jodi Katzin asks: “I have worked with a few business coaches and still am having trouble getting that first client! I work so hard on my posts but, with a small following and the algorithm, I don't know how many eyes are actually landing on them, so I get discouraged easily. I guess my question would be if there are ways outside of social media to get things off the ground.” Bailey Barcellos asks: “How do you balance the masculine ‘get it done’ energy with feminine energy when running a successful business!?”   Review: Fido Fizzy I love how Lori truly wants to help and serve her listeners. In This Episode You Will Learn About: What fear of success looks like Losing friends due to success What holds us back from success Modeling success for others   Resources: Visit squeezemassage.com/earn to learn about Squeeze’s franchise opportunities Text “DAILY” to 310-421-0416 to receive a daily money mantra for free Text PODCAST to 310-496-8363 to get your questions answered on our Q&A segment or get coached on the show!   Show Notes: Some of you might have something holding you back that you don’t even know about. It’s deeply rooted in your subconscious and it’s stopping you from achieving what you want in life. That thing is a hidden fear of success. It might sound funny at first, but it’s a very real fear that many people experience. But, how do you squash that fear when you might not even be aware it exists? The first step to getting over a fear of success is understanding what it is. Deep down, the fear of success is usually just the sum of many micro-fears of change. How will your life change if you succeed? How will it be better — and how will it be worse? The truth is that you will lose some things when you reach your goals, even before, on your journey toward them. Friends may be jealous. Family may question your skill set. You have to weigh these against everything else you stand to gain and have gained already. There are a few things holding you back: We think that we have unspoken agreements with people that we will always stay the same. But no one stays the same. Even more, you’re not supposed to. Good is the enemy of great. What often holds you back from greatness is the fear of letting go of a life that’s “good enough.” Fear of more work as you become more successful. It’s possible to work around all of these. More than fear of change, we should be afraid of staying the same. In hindsight, it will be impossible to imagine ever staying in your life the way it was. We should always be growing and adapting.

I've been coaching women in the health and fitness space for 15 years and I think people are intimidated to think they have to have my experience, but I know that's not true. How can I draw more people to my team?” Bethany Kochan asks: “Finding my passion. That's what has me stuck and often feeling unmotivated or undisciplined. In This Episode You Will Learn About: Using your network as a shortcut Tapping into your network Auditing your network The truths about your network   Resources: Text “DAILY” to 310-421-0416 to receive a daily money mantra for free Text “PODCAST” to 310-496-8363 to get your questions answered on our Q&A segment or get coached on the show!   Show Notes: All of the answers you are seeking in your business are likely already present in your network. Your network is one of the simplest and most powerful things you can tap into – and you’re not getting enough out of it. When you run into a problem that you don’t have the answer to on your own, start asking yourself: “Who do I know that might know about this?” If no one comes to mind immediately, dig a little deeper: “Who do I know who I don’t know what they do?” Of all the people in your network, you probably don’t know exactly what skills most of them have. If you want to truly tap into the power of your network, try this exercise: grab a pen and a sheet of paper, and pull out your phone. Go through your social media friends and ask yourself: “Who is in my network that can help me reach my goals?” Go name by name, down the list, and write down every person who may be a valuable resource for where you want to go. This will instantly make you realize how powerful your network is – as well as give you a list of people to reach out to in order to speed up your journey. You’re closer to your dreams than you think, but in order to get there you have to become an unapologetic asker.
In This Episode You Will Learn About: Interrupting our fear programming Helping people write their story Acknowledging what you want How to move from “can’t” to “can” Being kind to yourself   Resources: MiriamLaundry.com JackCanfield.com Instagram: @miriamlaundrypublishing Instagram: @jackcanfield_official Find the blueprint to writing a children’s book in one day at MiriamLaundry.com/bookblueprint Text “PODCAST” to 310-496-8363 to get your questions answered on our Q&A segment or get coached on the show!   Show Notes: Self-esteem is a major factor in a person’s success. That doesn’t mean you have to feel good about everything that you do. You just need to have the confidence to try. Together, they co-authored the book “I Can Believe in Myself,” which helps children turn the words “I can’t” into “I can!” Whether you have kids and want them to be confident, you struggle with confidence yourself, or you’re interested in writing and publishing a children’s book of your own, these two have a wealth of knowledge that you’re sure to find value in.   Question Highlights: Where did the inspiration for this book come from? Can you tell me about your course, helping people write books? What fears do you normally see from people? What was your experience after attending Jack’s event? In this coaching call, we explore the importance of finding mentors, how to build teams that invest in your vision, and extending your reach without sacrificing your core values.   Question for Lori: You have had so many accomplishments, from The Bliss Project to your latest endeavor of Lite Pink, which is such an inspiration from the community building aspect and how you have built it from the ground up as a female-funded business. How important was it for you to tap into your network as well as find mentors at each new level to support you, push you, and guide you? I have defined my big ‘why,’ my mission, my core values, and have a proven process. How do I create growth, impact, and reach as many women as possible while maintaining authenticity, integrity, and personal touch as every woman’s success is important to me?   Guest Bio: After 11 years of teaching and coaching women on nutrition, exercise, and lifestyle inside the Cultivate by Corey brand, from in-person classes at her studio to online courses and programs, there was something else brewing for Corey. In 2020, when the world shifted in unthinkable ways, so did Corey’s business and priorities. What started as impromptu calls and presentations to a group of women needing support in learning the ins and outs of online business has transformed into a larger mission to support women in creating an unwavering belief in themselves, their capacity to build financial freedom, and having a personal life of their dreams (friends, kids romance all of it).

In This Episode You Will Learn About: Making yourself a priority Planning for interruptions and making yourself show up The importance of switching up your energy Opening your eyes to a big dream   Resources: Text “DAILY” to 310-421-0416 to receive a daily money mantra for free Go to squeezemassage.com/happy to learn more about their franchise opportunities Text “PODCAST” to 310-496-8363 to get your questions answered on our Q&A segment or get coached on the show!   Show Notes: This year, we built what we knew we were going to need as a couple. Both of us are diving into new businesses, and we knew that if we didn’t make ourselves a priority, we would end up on the backburner. So we set up a couples’ mastermind where we went on dream date trips and we started tracking what matters most to us. Those simple things have made such a difference in keeping our relationship on the forefront, and that most recent trip completely shifted our energy. If you need to make sure you’re setting time to do the things that are most important to you, but don’t feel urgent, you need to take these two points to heart: Even if it’s not convenient, schedule time for the interruptions you know are good for you so that you show up. You have to regularly change up your energy or you are going to burn out. As counterintuitive as it may seem, there are times when stepping away from your business or your work is the best thing you can do for your productivity and inspiration. You need to be changing up your energy to inspire you to do things at a new level. Switching things up doesn’t always feel good at first – in fact, it can feel very uncomfortable. But doing so opens up space for new opportunities. Routines are powerful, but they can also get you stuck. You have to remind yourself why you are doing what you do, what you are working towards, and what levels there are ahead.

I don’t know what I would do without her and her incredible team, and after hearing this interview, you’ll wonder how you ever survived without her too.   Question Highlights: What did you do before helping entrepreneurs and at what point did you pivot? What were the themes you saw people struggling with? How do you make sure your business isn’t dependent on your constant input? Who are the ideal people you like to work with? In This Episode You Will Learn About: Why some people are motivated and others aren’t Understanding how to manage your discipline Using gratitude to motivate yourself Making the choice to make your day better   Resources: Text “FASTER” to 310-421-0416 to join Chris’ new “Fastermind” Text “PODCAST” to 310-496-8363 to get your questions answered on our Q&A segment or get coached on the show! Text “PODCAST” to 310-496-8363 to get your questions answered on our Q&A segment or get coached on the show!   Show Notes: How do you manage your motivation? Even as naturally motivated people, we still have days where we wake up feeling no motivation to build a business, work out, or do anything. Even if you’re not naturally motivated, that doesn’t mean you won’t see success, and just because you don’t wake up motivated doesn’t mean there aren’t ways to turn things around. Whoever you are, own it, and implement the tools we’re going to share with you to manufacture motivation whenever you need it. So many things can affect your willpower and motivation: your sleep, what you eat, how much you exercise, or just your levels of stress. There’s so much going on at any given time and you have to take inventory of it all. Try to mitigate the pain points where you can. The first thing to do every day is shift into gratitude. Ask yourself, “What are three things I’m grateful for and three things I’m excited for?” These can be hard to answer when you’re feeling down or unmotivated, but that’s when answering them is most important. It’s OK to feel a certain way and shaming yourself for not feeling motivated isn’t helpful. You feel the way you feel, but you can still make choices from that place. Giving up will only make you feel worse in the long term. You have control over your destiny, over your mood, and over your motivation. Starting off on the wrong track never has to determine your day. Use these tools and get yourself going again.

Bravery isn’t as simple as not being afraid; it’s about not letting fear hold you back from doing what you need – or just want – to do. For Chris, his goal is to be as fit as he can be this summer. To make sure he hits this goal, he had to develop some tools. One of those tools was asking himself this question before every decision: “How will this make me feel in one hour?” We make so many decisions hoping for instant gratification, but thinking an hour ahead is just far enough out for you to realize whether it’s something you truly want or something you’ll regret. My question that I ask myself is: “How can I look at this differently?” We experience discomfort on a daily basis, but we rarely think about why we’re feeling that way or what it might be telling us. Often when we’re feeling fear, it’s actually a sign that we’re in an area with opportunity for expansion and growth. When there’s no problems and no fear, there’s no way we’re ever going to get better. If you ask yourself these two questions purposefully and intentionally, you will make exponentially better decisions and see a wider set of opportunities. These two questions can change your life.

gotta admit, this episode was a turn off. all I could hear was the braggart message. Any positive message was lost on me. glad to know I'm that much is a lesser being. thanks for reminding me.

I don't think you understand what toxic relationships are lol these are just general "oh this relationship or person isn't for you"..........

This podcast was one of several that were recommended to one of my groups yesterday. I listened the Take a Leap episode while I was on my walk this morning. It definitely gave me the feels. Fortunately I was the only person out because it took great restraint on my part to keep from crying. Just a big "YES!" Thank you. 💖 This is being added to my podcast favorites.

37:05 I've wondered what is my gift, I don't see myself as business owner or major leader. But have thought about leading by just being and doing, my best self. Wondered if that was a thing or enough. So, thanks 😊
