In this episode Machiavelli will realize that they have indeed lost the war and that they are doomed. Something was missed in operation Eastern Bunny. Dolmare's doubts are realized. God the Father was steps ahead of them. The son was in a nearby room being "interviewed" by Machiavelli and some very persuasive interviewers when suddenly the "rules" of the game changed. The son shows Himself as victor over sin, death and the grave and proceeds to free those in Hades. Machiavelli acknowledges that they are doomed but schemes to take as many with him as possible. The attempts at the temptation of Christ in the wilderness have failed and the Son is quite a following. Plans are being made to "take out" the God man. Word has it that if they kill him while in human form he will be trapped as a human and never be able to return to Heaven as the Son of God. Machiavelli introduces a covert operation innocuously code named "Eastern Bunny". In reality it is the plan and pathway to the cross for the Son.
