For the third-straight year, our team at republicEn.org has participated in Florida Climate Week, a week-long series of events and panels hosted by the Volo Foundation and held virtually and in-person around the state. This fall, our republicEn panel explored how climate communicators effectively convey the risks posed by climate change, particularly amid deep polarization on the adoption of climate solutions. And we are bringing you that very conversation and panel for this week's episode of the "EcoRight Speaks." Moderated by The Invading Sea editor Nathan Crabbe and including a panel of experts on communicating climate change, today’s episode features panelists: Mary Anna Mancuso (Editorial Board member at the Miami Herald); Max Chesnes (Tampa Bay Times environmental reporter) and former Congressman Bob Inglis (republicEn.org Executive Director). Find out more about Florida Climate Week and their other events!

If you’re a member of the EcoRight, today’s guest needs no introduction. Alex Bozmoski is the heart of the EcoRight; he’s the fertilizer; he’s the one ensuring its growth. But in case you're new to Alex, he is a 20-year veteran of energy and climate policy, and, as alluded to, has spent more than 13 years focusing on building the Ecoright field. Prior to DEPLOY/US, he co-founded republicEn.org, a community of EcoRight libertarians and conservatives advancing climate action rooted in free enterprise. He previously developed clean-energy projects in East Africa, consulted for think tanks, authored peer-reviewed articles, worked on several GOP campaigns, and designed and facilitated e-learning courses on environmental economics and policy for World Bank technical assistance programs. He’s also a great friend to everyone on the team!

Utah House of Representatives Rep. Raymond Ward explains his state house bill regarding "balcony solar" on our 200th episode of the "EcoRight Speaks."
Welcome to the 200th episode of the "EcoRight Speaks" podcast! On this episode, we have a conversation with Utah State Rep. Raymond Ward (R-UT-19), a trained physician who has been serving in the Utah House of Representatives since 2015. Through his travels to Germany, Dr. Ward learned about an innovative way they are using solar that is cheaper, portable, and also reliable. However, the same product in the U.S. faces barriers to market entry, including in his home state with even tighter restrictions preventing the adoption of so-called “balcony solar.” Dr. Ward has been working to change that by introducing a bill to amend state law, which would allow balcony solar. He is also looking at how national policies can change to allow access to this innovative technology. Join us for a great conversation with Dr. Raymond Ward as well as a celebration with a few friends dropping by our 200th episode!
