Anna Scionti (pronounced Shon-tee) is a singer-songwriter, guitarist and bottleneck slide player who mixes it up on cigar box guitar, resonator, lap steel and six-string guitar.  Having lost both her parents as a teenager, Scionti turned to music as an outlet. Her original songs tell stories of love, loss, and longing and are uninhibited, raw and unapologetic in their honesty. In this episode Ed has a yarn with the singer - songwriter (epic guitarist) Nathan Cavaleri Nathan was first introduced to Australia aged just seven, when the Today show covered his meeting with one of his guitar heroes, Mark Knopfler of Dire Straits. This came about after Nathan was diagnosed with leukemia aged six, a year later (while still undergoing treatment) he was granted his wish to meet Knopfler through the Starlight Foundation. By age eight Nathan was playing guitar on Hey Hey It’s Saturday, in front of millions.  Since then Nathan's life has had more ups and downs than a roller coaster at Gumbuya world!
