An introduction to what promises to be a long journey: A scientific journey in search of what is at least the most optimal model for better education.
In the previous episode, we have seen that the environment was the most important and key element in building a good educational system. In this episode, we will see how psychology sees this assumption based on the Jean Piaget's theory of Intelligence. The constructivist approach seems to be a good candidate when studying this kind of topic where different individuals are understanding the same materials in different ways. Maria Montessori says : “The environment must be rich in motives which lend interest to activity and invite the child to conduct his own experiences”. This thought highlights and emphasizes on the fact that, the inner system of a human being is not fundamentally the first reason that lend to activities but the capacity of the environment to create and lend interest and push curiosity to take action and to conduct experiences. Therefore, a great system should be able to create the state of equilibrium between each individual and the surrounding elements and concepts. A good system must be adaptive and flexible to fit everyone’s internal components because that the whole process of learning is about interaction with the environment and implementation of knowledge and as Jean Piaget said : “Every response, whether it be an act directed towards the outside world or an act internalized as thought, takes the form of an adaptation or, better, a re-adaptation”.This episode centered the attention on how general the environment should be without defining it. By asking the question of what should be the central element of a good system, it was clear that it cannot be something interior to the person, instead the element that has direct relationship with all kinds of inner systems.Hope you liked it and share your thoughts on it !Twitter :https://twitter.com/NahumMauriceYoutube :https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCrcGKQ1cg9FQsmnTxqF4iSwInstagram :https://www.instagram.com/nahum_nm/
