Like all schools in California (and many schools in the nation) we're stuck inside trying to keep ourselves and others around us healthy.  But that doesn't mean we can't still make a podcast.  So enjoy this first episode in a series of episodes all about how we're feeling, what we're up to and, most importantly, Ms. Reiser's Disney Plus recommendations.
On September 14, 1814, Francis Scott Key was in a British ship when he saw the U.S. base get bombarded by the British. The next day, Francis woke up and saw the U.S. flag be raised over the base. September 11, 2001, is a date that everybody in America should know about. It was the date in which our country would change forever. And although no one in the media class at El Rancho was alive during the event, we interviewed a few teachers who were. Through these interviews, we were able to find out how the attacks on 9/11 still affect them today.
Marie Curie not only won two Nobel prizes, but also made numerous contributions to physics and influenced generations of female scientists.  Listen to El Rancho students talk about all of the reasons why you should know about Marie Curie!
Are schools doing enough to get students ready for life outside of the classroom?  Listen as we interview El Rancho students, teachers and parents about ways to better prepare students after they graduate and beyond!
This podcast is about should Division 1 athletes be paid? Division 1 athletes bring in money for the colleges and the NCAA, but they aren't paid, so we think that they should, considering all their hard work for the college. We interviewed some former D1 athletes on the topic and discussed our own opinions. Enjoy!
