Elder Brothers? Official Podcast

Friends have asked where I have been lately. The answer to that question is quite straightforward: I slipped into a time portal and was transported back to the year 2000. As proof of this journey, I brought back a crate of records from my old collection and have compiled them into mixtape format.

Tracks compiled and mixed by Mr. A. of Elder Brothers?, inspired by the city that he moved to three weeks ago. From the chaos of ruin emerges a new creative spirit. Steam rises violently from the beneath the pavement. Grass sprouts where civilization has ceased to exist. The retro futuristic humanity trolley passes by overhead, silently sprinting forward on a single concrete rail. And amidst all of this kinetic energy, a new persona arrives on the scene — Mr. A. From his apartment overlooking the Detroit River, where strange things are known to happen, a musical journey takes place on a late summer afternoon. Amidst the swirling stresses of our modern reality, we must all look inward to the deep dark places that can relieve our outer anxieties. You must release yourself. As my good friend and hypnotist Lorenzo once said, "the deeper you go, the better it feels."
