Description: Join us on today's episode of ETM as the BOLD Ladies invite you to distinguish the difference between an anchor that weighs you down and inhibits change and an anchor that grounds you for change. Further Information: What being anchored, living from grounded truths and being vulnerable means. An anchor is something you think about, feel, touch or smell that immediately makes you focus on your goals and desires. Grounded truths are the values you practice on a daily basis. Grounded truths are our come from (i.e. I come from a place of unconditional love, I come from peace, and I come from compassion). Vulnerability is courage. The awareness and the acknowledgment to ask for help whether the help is sought from a person, course, book, coach, or counselor is the most courageous thing one can do because it means accepting that there are times you need help along this change journey.Intention:  Anchors, grounded truths, vulnerability is where freedom rings!Resources:  Brené Brown’s Book: Daring Greatly: How the courage to be vulnerable transforms the way we live, love, parent and lead. Quote: Brené Brown, “Daring greatly means the courage to be vulnerable, it means to show up and be seen. To ask for what you need to talk about how you’re feeling, to have the hard conversations.” Guideposts: DARING Boldly Guideposts: A-Awareness, Attention, and Acceptance (What are you choosing to believe?) R-Reflect (Are you choosing the life you want to live?) I-Intention (What do you want to create?) G-Growth (Are you ready to grow; are you ready to dare boldly?)Foundational Pieces:  EMBRACE Guideposts. Anchor—I am living from my values and I am grounded in my truths. They support and guide me in all my experiences and anchor me to who I am and what is important in my life. Compassion—I have unconditional love and compassion for myself and empathy for others. I honor myself for where I am and recognize that everyone’s experience is unique.Lesson(s):  It is important to have anchors and grounded truths when doing change work. Change viewing vulnerability as a weakness to knowing it as your strength. The Listener’s Invitation from Source: Discover your anchors and grounded truths.Connect: Learn more and get support by visiting our website: www.elevatethemasses.com where you can download the Guideposts to Change and join our private Facebook Community as well as follow us on Instagram.
Description: Join us on today's episode of ETM as the BOLD Ladies invite you into living in the Now, the present moment, by leaving the heaviness of the past in the past.Further Information: There are two types of anchors: one anchor grounds and holds an object or person steady and secure. The second type of anchor weighs you down and is connected to the emotional states of regret, anger, and non-forgiveness to self or toward others.Intention:  Living in the present moment means freedom from the regrets of the past. Holding onto the past impedes your journey towards change.Resources:  Eckhart Tolle The Power Of Now: A Guide To Spiritual Enlightenment. Quote: Marianne Williamson, “We do not heal the past by dwelling there. We heal the past by living fully in the present.”Guideposts: DARING Boldly Guideposts. D-Desire (What do you desire to change?) A-Awareness (What are you observing and feeling?) N-Now (Who are you choosing to be in this moment?)Foundational Pieces:  EMBRACE yourself to Embrace Change. Compassion - I have unconditional love and compassion for myself and empathy for others. I honor myself for where I am and recognize that everyone’s experience is unique.Lesson(s):  What is important for listeners to know: All things are working for you.The Listener’s Invitation from Source: Make the choice to live in the present moment and not to hold onto the stories from the past. Make the shift to realizing the lessons you learned from the past have benefitted you in the present and some have been your greatest teachers.Connect:  Learn more and get support by visiting our website: www.elevatethemasses.com where you can download the Guideposts to Change and join our private Facebook Community as well as follow us on Instagram.
Description: Join us on today's episode of ETM as the BOLD Ladies invite us to look at change from a different perspective and how this viewpoint allows acceptance, growth, and compassion.Additional Notes: There is more than one way to look at the process of change and how the implementation of change unfolds. Ridding yourself of the ‘shoulds’ is important...it should be like this, or you should do it this way. Accepting that change looks differently for everyone is an important concept to begin identifying.Intention:  Invitation to open up to more possibilities of viewing change from a different vantage point. To move away from conditioned thinking into possibilities and opportunities that change can bring about.Resources:  Quote: Dr. Wayne Dyer “When you change the way you look at the things, the things you look at will change”. Dr.  Kristin Neff, The Mindful Self-Compassion Workbook.Guideposts: DARING Boldly Guideposts: A-Awareness, Acceptance, and Attention (What are you choosing to believe?) R-Reflect (Are you choosing the life you want to live?)Foundational Pieces:  Self-compassion, the belief that you are enough, and you are worthy, you are capable, and trust yourself.Lesson(s):  What is important for listeners to know: Everyone’s definition of change is different and that is ok! Examine if there is any judgment coming up for you about change. Life is happening for you rather than to you. Do you label change as good or bad, right, or wrong? The Listener’s Invitation from Source: Replace the words judgment, good, bad, failure, and shame with curiosity because those words are limiting, and we want to invite you into limitless possibilities and opportunities for change. When your perception and your reality (how you look at things) shifts then the way you look at change will also shift.Connect: Learn more and get support by visiting our website: www.elevatethemasses.com where you can download the Guideposts to Change and join our private Facebook Community as well as follow us on Instagram.
