My dad (65) had a "mild" heart attack (he had a normal EKG but had certain enzymes in his blood that suggested a heart attack) in June 2019. They transferred him by ambulance to a hospital with a cardiac unit to get an angiogram. Because of a few different situations he did not get an angiogram until almost 2 days later; it ended up being a huge blessing! While waiting to get the angiogram, the cardiologist ordered a echocardiogram (ultrasound of the heart) & they found a heart defect (bicuspid aortic valve) he's unknowingly had since birth. It needed to be replaced and the angiogram found 2 blocked coronary arteries (one was 99% block and the other was 60%) so open heart surgery was required. Post surgery, the surgeon said the aortic value probably would have failed in a few months, which could have killed him. Jared: You could try to wear a monitor for your heart in hopes that it would catch one of your painful episodes... p.s. Ambien is scary in my opinion. You can have hallucinatio
