Description

Like most people I have had a sense of wonder not only about the world we live in (our outer world), but also the world we think in (our inner world) for as long as I can remember. As I continue on this journey of life I will share with you my insights and also introduce you to the ordinary people I cross paths with who are achieving the extraordinary. I'm not talking about extraordinary as we traditionally perceive it with regards to success, I'm referring to those women and men who are living on purpose and sharing their unique gifts with the world - whatever those gifts may be.

In this absolute GEM of an episode we dive deep down the rabbit hole of parental relationships and how they can impact our entire experience for the rest of our lives in ways we often don’t realise. Kerri helps us unpack how the interactions we have had with our parents as children can shape who we become as adults; our need to help others from an avoidance of our own wounds, our need for attention or validation as examples. We discuss how these wounds can impact the way we relate in general - whether with partners, colleagues, friends, or anyone we interact with - in such a way that it influences how we listen, how we interpret, how we support, how we separate, how we judge, how we ridicule, and how we show up in the places and spaces we find ourselves in at any given moment. There are many tips for how to overcome, let go of, and develop past these areas of our lives and heal these parental wounds, with an emphasis on developing a deep, foundational relationship with ourselves and the magical power that exists in all of life, and and embracing the power of authenticity as a key to unlocking everything we desire.
