A startup is always looking to improve the user experience through unique features. During the several iterations of a startup app, development and deployments need to be quick. Serverless architecture enhances the time-to-market and offers optimal resource management, allowing startups to focus on product development. In this podcast, we have discussed serverless evolution, its benefits for startups, and some of the best platforms for your business.
AWS Step Functions enables you to orchestrate your AWS tasks using a visual workflow editor. You use this editor to create state machine diagrams, or step functions, which then become the basis of how you build, share, and modify application behaviour. You can configure step functions to trigger tasks and processes automatically. We will tell you how AWS Step Functions work and examine key pros, cons and best practices on the next episode of AWS Bytes this Friday at 5 pm.
When technical gremlins hit, Jason was on the stream, but for whatever insane reason, the studio equipment didn't pick him up.
In this episode, Lee talks about all the recent announcements, updates, news and events from AWS. This episode is sponsored by Burendo. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/awsbytes/message
In a change from our scheduled podcast today, we will discuss should you go serverless. The “serverless” term's popularity grew when Amazon launched AWS Lambda in 2014. We’ve seen the term exponentially grow in use and reference, with more vendors entering the market with their solutions (Azure has Functions, for example). Arthur discusses the pros and cons

AWS re/Start is a full-time, classroom-based skills development and training program that prepares individuals for careers in the cloud and connects them to potential employers. Technology background is not required to apply. The program is focused on unemployed or underemployed individuals, including military veterans, their families, and young people. Through scenario-based learning, hands-on labs, and coursework, learners can gain the technical and soft skills they need for an entry-level cloud role. AWS re/Start also provides learners with resume and interview coaching to prepare them for employer meetings and discussions. John O'Callaghan, the Placement Manager at Generation UK, will join me on the show to discuss how Generation UK work's alongside the AWS re/Start program. And hopefully, we will be joined by 3 or 4 other guests who were part of the Generation UK and AWS re/Start success story.
