Description
The best source on our cultural identity is not the official, historical record — ask any anthropologist, it’s the town dump. Ephemera — those things that were just barely saved, and in some cases not saved at all — emanate with secrets we can only glimpse and mysteries we can never completely answer. The stories may be unfamiliar, but the themes are universal; this is a looking glass, a window into our own fragile, material existence that begs the question, “How will I be remembered?”

Shout out to Casa Video in Tucson. The very best of the video stores.
13:00 that guy sounds psychotic. I rather enjoyed the original.
I absolutely love the sounds of nature. I wish I could capture nature in photography or sound recordings as a job.
I forgot about this podcast. It is spectacular, and now that it has so many more episodes (I had only hard the first 3 released at the time) I am pleased to revisit the tales and stories of the past.
this is the best idea 💖💝

Wow. I love this podcast. The last song brought a tear to my eye.
Amazing
depressing ending " They dumped the archive in the East River." Roll Credits. Nothing matters
She sounds like Shirley Temple a bit.
if this is what I have to look forward to as a series... I'm gonna have a good time.
I enjoy this podcast, but the ending credits with the distorted voice is somewhat annoying.
I'm really drawn into all of the discursive switchbacks and how they point so clearly forward.
what is the name??
that Armenian song, holy shit. you can hear the pain.
I was sucked in instantly. prepare to learn. excellent podcast.
Very interesting. Would love to have the names mentioned, for spelling and further research
