These conversations, which feature the challenges, successes, and goals of the district's efforts are intended to push our community to reflect deeper and to go further. Parents and students, staff, and policymakers, alumni, and community members are all included in this important dialogue. In this first of our student-led summer series, graduating senior Erin Williams guides four of her classmates through a civil discussion on the merits of both AP classes and the IB program, helping them to recognize and respect the points of view of their peers and even giving a new perspective that they may not have considered before! The students then move on to discuss the idea of recognizing class ranks and honors distinctions to the high school.
