In a U.S. federal courtroom Tuesday, Keith Raniere was sentenced to 120 years—having been convicted of a slew of crimes related to his alleged sex cult NXIVM. During the trial and sentencing, victims told of how the self-professed empowerment "vanguard" had turned some of his followers into sex slaves and branded them with his initials. Front Burner's Jayme Poisson discusses with Uncover: NXIVM host Josh Bloch.

I just listened to the last episode! It was a fabulous podcast... but the ending? Sarah blowing her nose, going for an audition? I expected something a bit more thought provoking or just even a wrap up. Fascinating story! Loved it ...but I wish one interviewee was a psychiatrist who could explain how cult leaders do what they do but also the mentality of converts. Why can't they see the red signs? I know you briefly touched on it but not in much detail. so many questions left unanswered. please keep on doing Podcasts on cults with converts.

I don't understand the order that this is supposed to go in. It seems like they are numbered backwards.

after listening to this episode with Keith's attorney, I feel like I don't understand how these women could be so naive. there is no way if someone told me hey when you join this group not only will you be branded (I don't care if they knew it was keiths initials or not) but you would be someone's slave? wth? I mean, come on, they would have to more self respect than that, wouldn't they?
