Juneteenth is the oldest nationally celebrated commemoration of the ending of slavery in the United States.  Dating back to 1865, it was on June 19th that the Union soldiers, led by Major General Gordon Granger, landed at Galveston, Texas with news that the war had ended and that the enslaved were now free. It was Juneteenth weekend, so we had some guests stop by to talk about it and other things. Grab a drink and take a listen, and don't forget to follow and subscribe!

In this episode we talk a little bit about the aftermath of what has happened after George Floyd's death (After G.F). It indeed is a strange time, protests are continuing in just about every major city in the United States and other countries around the world. There have been more events where black people have lost their lives with a hangings "suicides" in California (Robert Fuller & Malcolm Harsch) and a recent police shooting in Atlanta, GA (Rayshard Brooks). We will continue dialogue about this issue because this is a human rights issue. You have to be aware and act on what is right. Rest in Power to George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery, Rayshard Brooks, Robert Fuller & Malcolm Harsch and the others slain unjustly. No drinks this time, just strictly a discourse & debate. It indeed is a strange time, the current events of the unjust killing of George Floyd among many other black people is at the forefront of our news cycle. Protests are going on in major cities around the United States. We felt compelled to speak on the situation. It was said somewhere that "I can do bad all by myself". So we are left to ask, if you are a single independent woman, are men (relationships) optional? Do you want a man, do you even need one? As you get older, things change. One of those things is your friendship circle, how you view friendship, and the type of friends you keep in your life. Whether it’s because you fell out with someone or you just naturally grew apart, friends are a mainstay in our lives. Wiseman Cass and Surae join in on our conversation about friendship. For some guys the hardest thing to do is to approach a woman. We are going to let you in on some of our thoughts and give some tips to hopefully help boost your confidence and success rate with the fairer sex. Our young apprentice, The Kid, joins to soak up some game. The world seems to be at a stand still right now because of the coronavirus pandemic (Covid-19). It doesn't seem like some people are taking this seriously until it hits close to home. We learned of a friend that had this virus and reached out to him to share his experience. Wiseman Cass shares his self quarantine coronavirus experience. Grab a drink and take a listen!

It might have been stupid then, but when you sit, think, and talk about it now, you can laugh and it brings back a memory that makes part of your soul smile.
