we’re back again with another banger! Anthony and I reminisce on the good old days of getting our first phones, thoughts about veganism, China’s new laws about restricting video gaming hours for students, women’s (and anyone’s) choice to reproduce, the Taliban and extreme religious beliefs. Making a comeback after being gone for a while due to ADHD being shifted to other interests. A discussion with my inner second personality about a few topics that have been brewing in my mind.

The month has come and gone by so quickly, but it important to be thankful for what we have and this is what my rant is about today. In this new episode, I have Anthony with me to discuss the current issue of the French Government attempting to ban the Hijab, worn by Muslim women, in an attempt to "save them". Anthony's presence is important here because as a Catholic man, I wanted to see whether or not he would understand why this issue could also possibly affect him and his female Muslim friends in the future. We also dive into politics and social movements, especially feminism, and how picky the movement is when it comes to Muslim women and their issues. No matter what our differences are, we eventually almost always see eye-to-eye. Message either of us with any feedback, we'd love to hear it all! Thank you!

A lot has happened since the last time I've covered this topic. I've had more conversations, read more articles, and listened to more podcasts. The conversation does not stop here, if anything, it needs to be spoken about even more. I was shocked by the way people still think of women in 2021 and the way victims of sexual assaults are seen. I cover a bit about the response on social media along with the idea of 'cancel culture' which is affecting celebrities on the internet as well. Trigger Warning: conversation of sexual assault and rape. Upon the rise of victims coming forward with sexual assault claims, the March 4 Justice rallies in Australia were met with not-so-welcoming responses from our Government, including Scott Morrison, the Australian Prime Minister, father of 2 daughters.  Brittany Higgins was met with nothing but negativity and slander from the media and those close to the alleged rapist and his workplace. I also share my experience and how I've dealt with sexual assault.
