Sean and Ravi sit down to talk about all three divisions, about the teams you should be paying attention to, about the players that we'll be seeing dominate the fields in the Netherlands and about the teams they'll both be involved with. They also make what will almost certainly be totally correct predictions.
Windmill is set to be even bigger than usual this year, so we're going big at EuroZone too. In this episode Sean speaks to Stef Rappazzo, the brains behind the Tokay SuperTeam project, about the team and what it could achieve. Then he speaks to Ultiworld editor-in-chief Charlie Eisenhood about his first Windmill, the decision to stream it and what he thinks might happen with the American teams! This season we have a new EUCS structure, a new rankings system and the new broadcast deal covering all the games. It's a lot of change! EUF Events Manager Felix 'Nemo' Nemec came on the pod to talk about the changes from EUF's perspective, reflect on how they're all going and talk about what might be coming next.
Sean is joined by Ranelagh's Sam Murphy to talk Tom's, the EUCS structure and what we might be seeing at Elite Invite as well as some discussion about the season more widely and how Ranelagh are looking this year.
EUCF is here! The club season has all been building to this point, with the best teams in Europe fighting it out for the title of European champion. Will we see any shock winners this time around? Which teams are in with a shot? Which pools are the ones to keep an eye on? Sean and Benjy Rees go through it all and pick their winners.
It's EUCF hype on EuroZone this week as Sean talks to two experts on countries that could have a big impact in Wroclaw. First it's an Oktoberfest celebration as Kim Gietzen of the Stalling Podcast helps us get a grip on the German teams going to Euros, as well as about the German national team programme's status. Then it's Liam Grant talking about surprises at Irish nationals and whether the top two teams coming out of the country can compete at the top of their divisions. More to come, so stay tuned!
Sean speaks again with Stefan Rappazzo about the teams that qualified for EUCF this season in each of the regions. They start out talking about the Central region Stef was at, then move to the South, the East and North and finish with the West.
Sean is joined by Hannah Pendlebury to talk about the East mixed qualifiers for EUCR and preview the largest qualifier, UK Nationals in Nottingham. They also talk about some of the other regionals and a couple of bits of news around player and team movement.
