Enjoy this fun interview with the singer on the show this week.    Martina Borg (Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2025) Interview with Martina Borg (Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2025): On Sat. 08 Feb 2025 Miriana Conte and her song "Kant" (now "Serving") was selected by the jury and Maltese public to represent Malta at the Eurovision Song Contetest 2025 in Basel in May. Miriana successfully placed Malta in the Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest ranking 17th at the end of the voting sequence.   Earlier on in February 2025, Radio International conducted interviews with all the contestants at the Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2025 and more. This week, Radio International will broadcast an interview with Martina Borg who took part in the Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2025. Also representatives from Germany's Broadcaster ARD attended as well as concerts by former Eurovision performers such as Lou (Germany 2003), Pasha Parfeni (Moldova 2012 and 2023) and Alex Panayi (Cyprus 1995 and 2000) together with Philippos Constantinos, member of Group ONE representing Cyprus at the Eurovision Song Contest 2002 with the song "Gimme" which came 6th in the contest. Philippos has also been part of the performance of Alex Panayi at Eurovision.  Alexandros or Alex Panayi is THE Eurovision Legend from Cyprus and his involvement with the Eurovision Song Contest spans over four decades. He was the Lead Artist in 1995 on "Sti Fotia"(Number 9) and in 2000 on "Nomiza" (Number 20). As backing vocalist in 1989, 1991 and on the Eurovision Winning song "My Number One" for Elena Paparizou representing Greece in 2005.  He took part in the national finals in Cyprus in 1993, 1998 and 2009. He was stage director and vocal director. This does not stop here. The FanVision Song Contest is part of the Euroision Weekend, where artists representing different Eurovision Fan Clubs, the OGAEs) performing covers of the Eurovision Song Contest. Artists from 11 Eurovision Fan Clubs from across Europe tooks part in the contest: Austria, Denmark, EC and OGAE Germany,  Italy, Malta, Norway, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia and Switzerland. The song she competed with is called "Heaven Sent" which came second in the Grand Final of the Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2025 after Miriana Conte's "Serving".        JVF (Jessika, Victorio and Fabrizio Faniello) at the  Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2025 Interview with JVF (Jessika, Victorio and Fabrizio Faniello) (Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2025): The Trio JVF consits of Jessika Muskat, Victorio Gaucchi and Fabrizio Faniello formed for the Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2025 to compete with the good mood song "Festa (No Time for Siesta"  which reached Number 5 in the Grand Final of the competition. All three singers previously participated in the Malta National Final to Eurovision in their own rights. Jessika represented San Marino at the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 together with her then singing partner Jennifer Brening performing the song "Who we are". Jessika had previously attempted to represent Malta every year from 2008 to 2017 and in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2004 with the song "Precious Time". Fabrizio Faniello represented Malta twice at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2001 and 2006 and Victorio previously entered the Malta Eurovision Song Contest back in 2009 with Dorothy on the song called "Promises".  JVF successfully could qualify for the Grand Final of the Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2025 out of Semi Final 1 and after the Voting sequence in the the Grand Final JVF's fun act reached Number 5. KAJ won Melodifestivalen 2025 and represented Sweden at the Eurovision Song Contest in Basel coming 4th. Radio International went to some of the heats of Melodifestivalen and conducted interviews with the artists which all have been broadcast on the show but one. This also concludes the series of Melodifestivalen 2025 Interviews on Radio International.  Miguel Bonello (Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2025) Interview with Miguel Bonello (Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2025): On Sat. 08 Feb 2025 Miriana Conte and her song "Kant" (now "Serving") was selected by the jury and Maltese public to represent Malta at the Eurovision Song Contetest 2025 in Basel in May. Miriana successfully placed Malta in the Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest ranking 17th at the end of the voting sequence. Earlier on in February 2025, Radio International conducted interviews with all the contestants at the Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2025 and more. This week, Radio International will broadcast an interview with Miguel Bonello who took part in the Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2025. The FanVision Song Contest is part of the Euroision Weekend, where artists representing different Eurovision Fan Clubs, the OGAEs) performing covers of the Eurovision Song Contest. Artists from 11 Eurovision Fan Clubs from across Europe tooks part in the contest: Austria, Denmark, EC and OGAE Germany,  Italy, Malta, Norway, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia and Switzerland. Senhit represented San Marino twice at the Eurovision Song Contest. In 2011 it was with "Stand By" which failed to qualify San Marino for the Grand Final of Eurovision 2011 reaching number 16 in Semi Final 1. Her second attempt was "Adrenalina" with which Senhit qualified San Marino for the Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contes 2021 coming 22nd in Rotterdam. Susanne Georgi owns Stars Academy in Andorra and prepares many young artists for music events such as the Eurovision Song Contest. Together with her sister Susanne had a major European Pop Hit in 1995 as Me & My called "Dub-I-Du". In 2007 they participated in the Dansk Melodi Grand Prix (Danish National Final to Eurovision) reaching Number 6 with the song "Two Are Stronger than One". Susanne moved to Andorra and got married there and in 2009 she represented Andorra at the Eurovision Song Contest with the song "La teva decisió (Get a Life)", sadly failing to qualify for the Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest and marking Andorra's last ever entry to the Eurovision Song Contest. Susanne founded Stars Academy in Andorra and together with her working partner Francesca Aean have been coaching many singers including the young artists that competed in the national final in Luxembourg in 2024 and 2025. At the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 in Basel JP had the pleasure to meet Susanne and Francesca and conducted an interview aimed at her part in the Luxembourg Delegation. On the guest list was Bojana Stamenov (Serbia 2015), Marc Roberts (Ireland 1997),  Renanta Domkovska (Poland 1998), Marc Dietrich was Peter, Sue and Marc (Switzerland 1971, 1976, 1979 and 1981) as surprise guest and Gunvor (Switzerland 1998). The Interview Team of Radio International had the pleasure to conduct interviews with all the artists which you will hear on the shows throughout the summer of 2025. This week we start broadcasting the interview with Gunvor who in 1998 represented Switzerland with the song "Lass ihn" which ranked 25th at the end of the Voting Sequence in the Final. Listen to the interview on the show this week.  Jerry Heil (left) and Alyona Alyona (Ukraine 2025) Interview with Jerry Heil (Ukraine 2024):   During the Melodifestivalen 2025 Grand Final Week the OGAE of Sweden organised the fantastic MelFestWknd 2025 in Nalen of Stockholm where national and international media could meet the attending artists. On the guest lists among other were also Jerry Heil who represented Ukraine at the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 together with Alyona Alyona with the song "Teresa and Maria" coming 3rd in the Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2024.  Marc and JP from Radio International ad the pleasure to obtain an UpDate Interview with Jerry Heil you can hear on Radio International this week.  Destiny (Malta 2021 and Junior ESC Winner 2015, Malta)   Interview with Destiny (Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2025): During the Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2025 earlier on in February 2025 JP bumped into Destiny who represented Malta at the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 in Rotterdam, The Netherlands with the song "Je me casse" which came 7th in the Grand Final. In 2020, Destiny was selected by X-Factor Malta to represent Malta at the Eurovision Song Contest with the song "All of My Love". The Eurovision Song Contest 2020 was cancelled due to the Corona Pandemic and Destiny got the chance to represent Malta at Eurovision 2021. Already previously she won the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2015 with the song "No, not my Soul". At the Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2025 Destiny coached some of the participating artists and JP took the chance of an interview which you can hear on Radio International this week.    Matthew Cilia (Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2025)     Interview with Matthew Cilia: On Sat. 08 Feb 2025 Miriana Conte and her song "Kant" (now "Serving") was selected by the jury and Maltese public to represent Malta at the Eurovision Song Contetest 2025 in Basel in May. Miriana successfully placed Malta in the Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest ranking 17th at the end of the voting sequence. Earlier on in February 2025, Radio International conducted interviews with all the contestants at the Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2025 and more. This week, Radio International will broadcast an interview with Matthew Cilia who participated in Semi Final 1 of the Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2025 but unfortunately did not qualify for the Grand Final. Marcus will tell us all about that particular Eurovision Song Contest and also plays some great songs from this contest.    Eurovision News, New Song Releases, Birthday File, Coverspot, Eurovision Calendar: Also JP will be joined by David Mann for the Eurovision Birthday File and Eurovision Coverspot.  Javier stands in for Nick and will be presenting the Eurovision News courtesy of escXtra.com.
