6 years ago my wife and I set ourselves the most difficult goal either of us had ever embarked on, a goal that made us look crazy, a goal that our friends and family didn’t understand. The goal seemed unrealistic, we looked like we had our heads in the clouds – what was this crazy goal? we decided to leave everything we knew, our family, our friends, our jobs, our comfortable life in the UK and move to Canada – a place where we would have to completely start over with very little support, very little money, with no connections or network.
