Playing with Muddy Waters, Johnny Winter, Gregg Allman, Stevie Ray & Jimmie Vaughan, George Thoroughgood… a very cool story of how the early The Nighthawks had to overcome, playing 300 nights a year… getting sober at age 50, with his wife… moving to Belize from Arkansas and the adjustments he had to make, doing what you love, chickens, parrot and eating the proverbial gibnut Jimmy co-founded The Nighthawks in 1972 and went on to record over 20 LPs with them. In 1986 he began touring with The Assassins. After the Assassins, Jimmy started a trio called Jimmy Thackery and the Drivers. A performer for over 50 years, Jimmy has released over 50 LPs of his own projects.
