A lack of communication can be the foundation of almost every failed relationship, romantic or platonic. The inability to be vulnerable with someone you love is absolute cancer on the relationship. As an over communicators, people who repress feelings instead of talking about them is dumbfounding to me.

Recently I began thinking that all this bad and negative stuff happening in my life is due to karma. Maybe all the shitty things I did earlier in life were coming back to haunt me? I was not a good boyfriend in the majority, ok...all of my relationships in my 20's & 30's so maybe it's time to pay for those mistakes. But according to Hinduism and Buddhism karma is not what we think it is in western culture.
I also complain about loneliness a lot in today's episode, but what's new? :)

We all tell ourselves stories that we believe that we shouldn't. Sometimes believing those stories can cause a lot of unnecessary destructive energy and drama. I have been doing it my entire life but justifying it by labeling it as psychoanalyzing.

Large Shopping Malls in medium market cities, Large Movie Theater Complexes, Car Dealerships still using old school methods, and any small business without an online presence like a website or upkeeping their Google My Business listing and providing every bit of content needed by customers searching are just many of the businesses that will need to adapt to the new world of consumer behavior & demand for positive customer experiences or they will just simply die out after social distancing is over.

I'm in a place right now that I've never had to deal with as a professional digital content maker. That place I've never been before is in the middle of a coronavirus pandemic. The COVID-19 is a difficult thing to go up against when you trying to market a product to an industry that is being negatively affected and currently struggling.
Plus, I pitch a new idea I have for a Netflix series. Since I recorded my brilliant idea here it has been time-stamped in case one of those Hollywood city slickers steal it.

I loved this conversation with my friend Mabel Peralta. Mabel is a few years younger than me and looks 20 years younger as well, who was raised in New Jersey approximately 5 minutes away from the Lincoln Tunnel to New York City. Fascinating discussion about the differences in growing up during the 1980s in two completely different American cultures and regions.

I know it sounds cliche but Dan Seitz is probably one of the friendliest people you could ever meet. I've known Dan, and his wife Kacey, for many many years. I met Dan when he was a flair bartender, you know, the bartenders that throw bottles and do tricks. Dan's life is very different now from when we first met. Today's episode starts out with good intentions of providing activities to you the listener as we all go through social distancing due to attempting to stop the spread of the COVID-19 (coronavirus). Unfortunately, social distancing does not save you from my attention deficit disorder. This episode goes off the rails quickly with whatever is popping into my head.
