A great conversation with my French Canadian buddy Bert Couvrette about how life is different when you have a great partner providing a support system. Bert and I compare lives and find out, not only how different we are but also the same. Gut Feelings vs Wanted Facts and kicking in doors to get into my inner circle. --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/everyoneneedsalittle/support
Thirst Trap: A sexy photograph or flirty message posted on social media for the intent of causing others to publicly profess their attraction. This is done not to actually respond or satisfy any of this attraction, but to feed the posters ego or need for attention, at the expense of the time, reputation, and sexual frustration of those who view the image or reply. Simping: A male overly catering to the exaggerated emotions of a woman. Also; a man saying things to a woman he does not believe but only saying them because he thinks that she wants to hear them. Intimacy:  close familiarity or friendship; closeness. Dunbar's Number: A suggested cognitive limit to the number of people with whom one can maintain stable social relationships—relationships in which an individual knows who each person is and how each person relates to every other person. --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/everyoneneedsalittle/support
A lack of communication can be the foundation of almost every failed relationship, romantic or platonic. The inability to be vulnerable with someone you love is absolute cancer on the relationship.  As an over communicators, people who repress feelings instead of talking about them is dumbfounding to me.   --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/everyoneneedsalittle/support
Recently I began thinking that all this bad and negative stuff happening in my life is due to karma. Maybe all the shitty things I did earlier in life were coming back to haunt me? I was not a good boyfriend in the majority, ok...all of my relationships in my 20's & 30's so maybe it's time to pay for those mistakes. But according to Hinduism and Buddhism karma is not what we think it is in western culture.   I also complain about loneliness a lot in today's episode, but what's new? :)  --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/everyoneneedsalittle/support

I need to be creative daily or I just don't function right. Luckily I have to opportunity to have a career that requires me to be creative daily.  --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/everyoneneedsalittle/support
We all tell ourselves stories that we believe that we shouldn't. Sometimes believing those stories can cause a lot of unnecessary destructive energy and drama. I have been doing it my entire life but justifying it by labeling it as psychoanalyzing.  --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/everyoneneedsalittle/support
Large Shopping Malls in medium market cities, Large Movie Theater Complexes, Car Dealerships still using old school methods, and any small business without an online presence like a website or upkeeping their Google My Business listing and providing every bit of content needed by customers searching are just many of the businesses that will need to adapt to the new world of consumer behavior & demand for positive customer experiences or they will just simply die out after social distancing is over.  --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/everyoneneedsalittle/support
I'm in a place right now that I've never had to deal with as a professional digital content maker. That place I've never been before is in the middle of a coronavirus pandemic. The COVID-19 is a difficult thing to go up against when you trying to market a product to an industry that is being negatively affected and currently struggling.   Plus, I pitch a new idea I have for a Netflix series. Since I recorded my brilliant idea here it has been time-stamped in case one of those Hollywood city slickers steal it.  --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/everyoneneedsalittle/support
I loved this conversation with my friend Mabel Peralta. Mabel is a few years younger than me and looks 20 years younger as well, who was raised in New Jersey approximately 5 minutes away from the Lincoln Tunnel to New York City.  Fascinating discussion about the differences in growing up during the 1980s in two completely different American cultures and regions.  --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/everyoneneedsalittle/support
My friend Jillian has never been one to hold back her opinion, and she doesn't hold back in this episode. Jillian gives every married woman hope as she gives her tips and tricks on how not to murder your husband while on coronavirus lockdown. So, if you're currently thinking about killing your husband, this is the episode to keep you out of prison. --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/everyoneneedsalittle/support
I learned a lot about my friend Stacey Ellison in this episode of the series "Conversations with Friends". Stacey is a lot more than an OCD, dog-loving, hard-working, Pabst Blue Ribbon drinking, West Virginia lady.  --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/everyoneneedsalittle/support
I know it sounds cliche but Dan Seitz is probably one of the friendliest people you could ever meet. I've known Dan, and his wife Kacey, for many many years. I met Dan when he was a flair bartender, you know, the bartenders that throw bottles and do tricks. Dan's life is very different now from when we first met. He is currently a family vlogger and special needs dad. His family's motto is: "the only way to it, is through it.  What's a day in the life like for Dan especially right now due to socially distancing? I have known Micah Birkholz for years but mostly online. We have been in each other's presence a few times but social media is where we keep up on each other's lives. During the COVID-19 coronavirus social distancing, I have invited friends across the world to join me on the Everyone Needs a Little podcast and conversate about anything they want to conversate about. Micah wanted to talk about false leaders and snake oil salesmen that are selling "improve your life" remedies, what it costs to become a priest, and being a closeted liberal-minded person while faking his conservativism.  --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/everyoneneedsalittle/support
Just when I thought the Netflix documentary "Don't F**k With Cats: Hunting an Internet Killer" was the craziest thing ever, here comes Joe Exotic and the documentary "Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem, and Madness" --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/everyoneneedsalittle/support
Today's episode starts out with good intentions of providing activities to you the listener as we all go through social distancing due to attempting to stop the spread of the COVID-19 (coronavirus). Unfortunately, social distancing does not save you from my attention deficit disorder. This episode goes off the rails quickly with whatever is popping into my head. These random thoughts include the awesome things my sister-in-law is doing with her kids while at home, a dissertation featuring a big personality difference between Sydney & I, and websites that will keep you busy and mentally occupied. Here are some of those websites: Take a tour of a national park here. Take a free, online class from an Ivy League school here. Peruse the NASA media library here. Take a free, online, 30-day photography class with local photographer Jessica Kaminski here. Create an electronic musical masterpiece by downloading the Moog and Korg synthesizer apps for free – info here. Download Smule and start karaoke-ing – it's free to download, $7.99 for a month. My best bud Noodles but you can call him Bill or Franklin. But under no circumstances ever call him Kevin. We talk about religion, Facebook, self-awareness, and Mc Donald's breakfast sandwiches.  --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/everyoneneedsalittle/support
I've had the MTV show "Catfish" in the background while I've been working lately.  Now I am completely dumbfounded on how someone can be catfished. Today is my birthday. 45 years celebrated being 6ft above ground. Its time to focus on what I need to do in life before I turn 50. Hard to swallow that is only 5 years away.  --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/everyoneneedsalittle/support
